Amazing food, service and experience. As vegetarians we had no issues with choices, the drinks both hot and cold were great. Chaltu is a gracious host and serves delicious food! So glad we found a wonderful Ethiopian restaurant that we can keep coming back to!
What a wonderful experience! This was our first time eating at an Ethiopian restaurant, and Eshkol Ethiopian Cuisine & Cafe exceeded all expectations.
You can immediately feel the love that goes into everything they do. The owner took the time to talk with us about the food and explain how the dishes are prepared. They spoke with such genuine passion and warmth that it made the meal even more special.

The food served at Eshkol is happiness. It is genuinely made with love and you can feel it and taste it. There is so much depth and mastery of spice, heat, and flavor. Ethiopian food is so special and Eshkol takes it a step further, it is unlike any other ethiopian restaurant or restaurant. It is not only one of the best spots in the Philadelphia area but they make some of the best food I've ever had. I have spent the better part of my life as a cook and have worked in kitchens...
