I've been to Rosa Mexicano in Ardmore before and had a great experience, so this visit was especially disappointing. The tableside guacamole and fresh chips were excellent—still a standout and made perfectly. But the lobster taquitos were clearly rancid. The smell hit immediately, and I had to spit the bite out. Our server acknowledged the odor and said the manager would “take care of it,” but no one ever came to the table to check in or apologize. That lack of follow-up made the situation worse. We didn't eat the dish, and it was taken off the bill—but it left a bad impression. The shrimp and chicken fajitas were decent, but only came with four very small corn tortillas—nowhere near enough for a portion served. I've enjoyed this restaurant before, but rancid food and no manager follow-up really lower my trust. Sadly, I don't see myself returning.
Chicken mole outstanding delivered with excellent customer service. I liked the mushroom enchilada
My work colleagues and I went to lunch there for Taco Tuesday, half price tacos! The tableside guacamole was amazing. Shrimp tempura tacos were fabulous. I shared a duck carnitas taco with one of my friends and enjoyed it very much, but thought it would have been more flavorful with a little more spice or salsa on it. The server was very attentive and friendly, checking on our needs frequently. Though the prices are a little high, the food is very good and the atmosphere is lovely. The air-conditioning was working so well that we asked them to turn the temperature up just a bit, which the manager did for us. Overall we were all very happy with the dining experience.
I wanna start by saying that , I absolutely loveee Rosa Mexicano ! However, I was extremely disappointed in the service that I had received! We were celebrating Father's Day here because this is my husband's favorite spot ! Isabella our sever was nice in terms of her personality but she was by far the worst server that I have experienced at Rosa ! She was not attentive but we watched her attend to the other tables . We did not receive any water but the other tables did. My appetizers came out with the entrees which defeated the purpose of a “starter”, my toddlers two taco meal came out later than all of the food . She did not clear the table so there was no room to eat I had to ask the manager to clear the table as she was walking by . Isabella did not ask if we were good only when her manager was present in the dining area. My daughter's meal was suppose to come with a drink which I was charged for separately at the adult price . Also , she never received the ice cream that was suppose to come with the meal , we were never asked if we wanted it but I was so over the experience that I didn't even bother to ask for it . I most likely will not come back or recommend this restaurant ever again which is upsetting because we once loved it ! I suggest more training for your severs .
During my 1st visit i had nachos that were amazing so i came back for a full meal... wish i hadn't. Had the quac - it was mid. I wanted it spicy but the peppers had no kick at all and there was no salt so just bland. My enchilada was ok. The Mexican rice was plain. Agian nooo flavor but the kicker was the charges which did not match the menu. I had $9 worth of extra charges! Watch your pockets they def up to some shenanigans. Only after i left did i notice that they only adjusted my check back $6 not $9 ! Nope wont be returning
We were seated in the atrium area to the right of the bar. The music and other table's noise-level were so loud we could not have any meaningful conversation. We requested the music to be turned down and our request was honored. We ordered table side guacamole that tasted very good. However this was presented to us at the same time as our meals, so there was a lack of coordination between the kitchen, server, and guacamole maker. They were taking away the small chips plates before the guacamole was placed on the table. I requested they remain on the table and was treated rudely by the server. Poblano pepper entree was served warm. It consisted of a single pepper which was unsatisfying. The duck carnitas were tasteless and had a 2 inch piece of gristle in the meat layer Salad was fine and corn side was very good and hot when it arrived. Surf and turf enchilada was average. Flan for desert was the best part of the meal. It had great flavor and was rich and creamy. We had to request our check from the hostess as the server was no where to be found and we were anxious to leave. This was an all around disappointing dining experience. Moreover, the restaurant reported we were a no show to our reservation. Our $180.00 bill for 4 without drinks was not well spent here. We can only hope the honest feedback will spur some improvements to the establishment. Someone experienced should be running and coordinating front of the house.
Pleasantly surprised with "taco Tuesday"....half price tacos! Tableside guac is ALWAYS the main attraction for us!
Excellent dining experience, great food & service. Joanna was our server, she made great recommendations (especially the People's Margarita, best ever!!) and excellent service. We will definitely dine here again! Thank you for such a great experience!😊
We had a large party of eight people, and they were super accommodating and everything was really really good
The Food is decent but service is horrible. It used to be better but the last few times it has really gone downhill.

We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation but it took more than 30 minutes for us to get seated. The host was nowhere to be seen for almost 30 minutes, and the line of people to be seated was just growing and growing. However, once we were seated, service and food were good.
The food was pretty good. The services was not very good. Long time to get served. We had a hard time getting server's attention. The dining room (we sat inside and towards the back) is kind of dingy and dim.
Food took a long time to come out and it was cold. Not enough servers and not the best service Out of paper towels in the bathroom Won't be going back
It was Mother's Day dinner, and the restaurant was visibly overwhelmed. We sat for quite some time before the food runner acknowledged us, ne brought us water and chips and apologized for the delay. The server came over to take the order. Only one out of two appetizers showed up before our drinks, then came one main course. At this point, we have asked the food runner to check on our drinks. The server brought drinks after the second main course showed up. We finished eating, the server brought dessert menus but did not clear a single dish off the table. Desert arrived; we piled up the dirty dishes at the end of the table to make room for dessert. We had to grab the attention of the food server to ask for utensils for the desert. The food was very good; the service was awful. Sadly, I would not recommend this restaurant to dine in. I may order take out in the future.
This place used to be my favorite restaurant until today. I had reservations for 5pm came early got sat right away (loved that) and was waiting for a waiter for what seem liked forever but it was 15 minutes. Once the waiter came no acknowledgment of her lateness, because I would understand it's Mother's Day so of course it would be busy. I was there a little over an hour and that's only because she literally would be gone for 10 min each time (getting drinks, a straw, our food, the bill! ) like I wish I was being dramatic but I'm not. I talked to the guy who sat me and he told me they're busy. Mannn they wasn't that busy.
