I’ve never written a review in my life, but this location earned it.
My girlfriend and I walked in about 20 minutes before closing to grab dinner. The staff didn’t just act annoyed — they basically refused to serve us. One employee wouldn’t even look at my girlfriend when she asked if they were still open. She literally ignored her, then mumbled “we are” under her breath like she was hoping we’d just leave so they could close early after she asked again. Absolutely unprofessional.
This wasn’t a one-off, either. Just a few days ago we came by and they were already closed before the posted hours. This isn’t a bad day, it’s a habit.
Sweetgreen’s food is great, but the people running this location do not care about customers at all. Rude, dismissive, and unwilling to do the bare minimum of their job. I’m genuinely shocked by how they treat paying customers.
Do not eat here. Go to literally any other location or any of the other options in Suburban Square (Cava, Shake Shack, etc.) and you’ll be treated like an actual human being.

Just drove 30 minutes to have one of my favorite meals after fasting. No qunoia no wild rice as well as no mushrooms nothing is prepared at 1pm which is unbelievable. I’m starting my vegetarian journey and opted for here considering their shroomami bowl is fabulous. Young lady working was helpful. I asked for focaccia bread to be compensated for my wait and dissatisfaction I was told no. I can receive a bag of chips because “focaccia cost” according to the gentlemen with the locks. All around terrible service. I left and went to digg in next door. I love to see my black ppl working and employed but we have to do better. Completely disappointed, will not be returning.

Food was great, but the mushroom was really salty. Maybe add less oil too, the food went right through me

I wish I had gotten my bowl half off, because it looked like it had already been half eaten. I paid extra for certain ingredients, but the portion was noticeably small and didn’t match the price I paid. While the dressing was correctly mixed in, my Mom and I were given pork, and not chicken, which is concerning because I don’t even think pork is on the menu. Overall, the bowl was disappointing and felt incomplete.

Ordered on DoorDash and they only gave us one of the two things we ordered. Extremely disappointed.

We ordered delivery yesterday and loved it! That’s why we decided to come back today — but unfortunately, the woman who attended us was extremely rude. It felt like she was making fun of our non-native accent, since every time we said something she responded with ‘What?’ and laughed. Such a disappointing and horrible experience.
We ordered online and it was supposed to be ready at 4:35pm. When we got there at 4:45pm they haven’t even started making our order, and there were no other customers in the store. One employee was wandering the store bored. They didn’t want to make more wild rice, so they gave us white rice instead. I have given this location chance after chance and I am constantly let down by their terrible service. Who manages this place!? How do they stay in business?! Do yourself a favor and just go to another sweetgreen location. Don’t waste your time with this group of lazy individuals.

I've tried to eat here countless times after working out but the kitchen is always closed before the closure time. So I spend my money with CAVA weekly. My suggestion for this restaurant is to close at 8 because when I come in at that time the food is away and the kitchen is closed

Tasted something really bad and sharp and found metal in my salad. Quality control does not seem good

Service is complete trash. First time and last for sure. The girl helping us wouldn't speak up and I couldn't hear a word she was saying. When I asked about the GF bread that's advertised at the register she informed me it wasn't GF. I told her it says it right here and that could make someone really sick, she shrugged her shoulders. My wife would have been extremely sick for days if she ate something with gluten.

Staff is miserable. Could care less about serving you — eye roll, snarky comments under breath from the staff. Ridiculous. You’d think if you’re paying for a $20 salad, you’d at least get a smile or some human decency. Do better

Last week , buying food in Suburban Square (Ardmore, PA) was such a great experience. The staff was personable, joyful, and extremely knowledgeable about the products—many of them even spoke, which made for a genuine and relatable conversation. I never felt like I was being “sold” something—it just felt authentic and helpful.
Unfortunately, this time around was the complete opposite. Getting my food rushed, impersonal, and frankly, unwelcome. There was little to no personality or engagement from the staff, and the customer service was subpar at best. It felt like I was being pushed out of the store rather than assisted.
I’m not sure if the team rotates or if the staff has changed, but I would love to find the woman who helped me last week —she was truly awesome. Sadly, based on this recent experience, I wouldn’t recommend this location anymore.
