“Had our daughters Sweet 16 party here with about 70 people, a DJ and lots of younger kids. This place is the PERFECT place to host any party! We were all impressed with this venue. There is enough space to dance and have a DJ but a place on the other side to relax play pool/fooseball and just hang out if the music is too much for guests. The staff there helped carry things in and had the whole place set up ready to be decorated! Also, everyone knows the worst part of any event is the clean up. Well, Broadway Tavern told us to take what we wanted and leave the rest up to them!!!!! I will definitely be using this place in the future!! HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“We went the R Bar and Grill for the first time yesterday after hearing rave reviews about their wings at the Bloomsburg Fair. Well let me tell you the restaurant did not disappoint! the wings were incredible, nice and crispy and plenty of sauce! my husband got a burger and was impressed as well, he said it was flavorful and juicy throughout and the toppings were generous and delicious. We will definitely be back and highly recommend😍“

“This restaurant is an area landmark for a unique sweet pizza. It has been in Hanover Section of Nanticoke for decades and is still very popular. The pizza pies are smaller than other places, but they've always been that size. The prices are reasonable compared to other places, and the pizza has its own taste. It is always served hot and quick. The inside has a bar in addition to a dining area. You can also order for take out. It is worth trying if you've never had it to see if you like the unique pizza style served at Ruby's. There is plenty of parking and they DON'T deliver.“

White tablecloth fine dining, menu excellent , genuinely welcoming.. they have a cozy little bar for a table for two on a busy night. Staff is wonderful, truly great service and I believe there is a gentleman that opens the door for the guests ( at least that's what my mom told me ). Also I'd like to know that they chose to put those tablecloth mats on each table, so your plates don't ping off the tabletop, things sit nice, comfy on the elbows.. As a dweeb, I take notice of those extra touches.. just sayin'
Delicious traditional dishes, but with a real touch of genuine.
They put craft and dedication to cooking these traditional dishes.
The staff is one of the finest in the area, service was outstanding I would say make sure to order the special. Even though you might not know what it is, you can trust that this kitchen will deliver an amazing plate.
Recently I went there with my parents, and they reminded me to wear something nice and make sure I don't have any holes in my jeans.. haha!
That's the kind of place this is in a great way.
Isabella has been doing it great for I would say almost 20 years one of my best friends used to cook their way back when and was always regarded as a very great kitchen in the area.
Always a great choice.

“What is the difference between tavern and bar? They both serve alcohol, but a tavern is more sophisticated with an “emphasis on the food.”
Town Tavern is a simple by nature, with a long bar and a rear seating area with tables and hi-tops. They keep the menu fairly simple by pub grub standards, with pizza, sandwiches and their next-level wings. As the definition says, an emphasis on food, in this case “the wings.”
Life is short. Tomorrow is never promised, so Eat the Wings! Enjoy yourself. If you consider them a guilty pleasure, you don’t deserve them. I would say “live deliberately” and try the Cajun or Sweet Thai Chili - my favorite two sauces. The wings come in orders of 10, but based on the size and quality of the wing, 10 is plenty. Would love to see a “fleet” of wings similar to beer tasting. Hard to choose from the 34 sauce flavors and six dry rubs.
The cost of the wings are listed on the menu as “market price.” Just like eating a lobster! Regardless of the current price, they are worth every penny.
I have seen a few reviews saying it takes too long. Please, if you want fast food, go to a place that serves it. If you want high quality - crispy wing on the outside and juicy on the inside, tossed in one of their beautiful signature sauces, wait for that level of preparation. Highly recommend a visit to the Town Tavern. An order of ten of their wings and a cold on-tap beer is truly one of life’s simple pleasure. Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think.“

The employees are all very friendly and welcoming, the food is great, the beer is cold, and the bathrooms are clean. “It's not the Nicest Place, but its never overcrowded & the prices are not that bad if you know how to find it in the BoonDocks! I'd recommend hanging out there. There is plenty of off street parking across the street. (Thats the one complaint, the owner is obsessed with having people towed from "his parking lot" god forbid should you not want to drive drunk. Or should a neighbor park there for a little bit, when a bar with happy neighbors means having a good eye kept on place for breakins in the bar and customers cars instead of pissing off neighbors who may say oh well not my problem!)“

“Walked in polite and professional staff. The one thing now under new management is its cash only with an ATM on site. I ordered a dozen of mild wings with blue cheese and celery. The wings came out hot and had a good mild taste. I was told that these are fresh and never frozen. Definitely worth getting. The fries came out nice and hot with ketchup packets and Cajun seasoning on the side. They don't have pizza yet but speaking with the owner they are going to be in the near future they will have bar pies. Prices are average, pool tables in the back. Come and check them out.“
