“The girls in the store were so sweet with my 2 y/o son when we went in for pretzels. They gave us a coloring page and told us to color it and he'd get a free pretzel. The next week, he wanted a pretzel so we hopped in the car but it was 5:58 and they close at 6. I called and said I was about 5 minutes away and had our coloring page. The girl told me that they had to lock the door but they would wait for me and to just knock when I got there. You made my little boy's night twice. Thank you!!!“
“The restaurant is a quaint cafe hidden between a few shops. It has amazing food that really surprised me on how well the quality was. Their dine in options have booths, tables, or window seating and their takeout offered prepared foods such as spanikopita and small cakes. They offer a complete menu and waiting services. I recommend the souvlaki platter with cucumbers on the side to dip into the tzatziki that comes with the platter. My only small complaint is the choice of modern american pop music instead of Greek music to match the atmosphere. Other than that, the place is perfect for small dates or a pit stop while walking around town, or even settling down for a full dinner.“
“Ordered a cake and cupcakes for my baby shower and they were not only delicious, but a hit. I asked for a plain white classy cake that I could add a topper and decor too and it was perfect. Might be a bit sweet for some but great with a cup of coffee in my opinion. Very happy and grateful it turned out beautiful and good! :)“
“Amazing!! I was looking for a dessert place and saw this on the map and remembered my friend said they were delicious, he was so right! I got a dozen customized bundtinis, so I could try all the flavors. They were moist, flavorful and the cream cheese frosting is freaking amazing! Pricey but personally I think it's worth the money. If you're looking for cake, definitely go here!!“
“Consistently plays great music while I do remote work or chat with a friend. Workers are very nice (and usually singing along while they make food/drinks) service is timely and always inviting. It might get busy but never feels crowded.As of 2/28/2024 it is the best cafe in Newark.Parking: There is a free spot behind the amstel square complex with free parking that almost always has a spot. Don't use the street parking unless you have to.“

“I came across Panadería Azteca as I was leaving downtown Kennett Square. I swore I would stop by the next time I was in the area, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman working behind the counter was welcoming and answered my many questions. He made excellent suggestions for lunch and baked goods. My lunch was flavorful and they were great about my requests. The baked goods were delicious with just the right balance of sweetness. I can't wait to go back and try something else.“
“We stopped in on a Saturday med-afternoon after hearing how good these pies are. We got a small apple crumb pie and a cookie to go. Sorry no pic of the cookie but rest assured it was very good. The staff were all friendly. The place was cute. We took the pie home but didn’t eat it right away and it was still very good after a couple of days. The apples were local and tasted fresh. We liked that the pie was not overly sweetened. We would return to try another flavor. I’m sure her savory pies are delicious.Parking: Street parking. I don’t remember if there were meters but they were free if so.“
