“It's exactly what you'd expect on the inside as the outside. Great biker bar on the river. Small menu, limited staff but they were on top of our drink order. This bar caters to bikers. If that's not ypir scene, this isn't a bar for you. Steamed class was on the menu so that was nice, all the food options looked good and something for everyone.“

“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“I haven't tried much of the menu past the wings. But the wings. . . absolutely perfect! I eat out solely for the reason of treating myself to a good meal that I don't have to prepare myself. But I don't think I can easily replicate the results that come out of this kitchen and the value for what you get doesn't encourage me to try.

“A friend and I went a couple weeks ago after the Pawpaw festival nearby. We were looking for a local place to get something to eat and found this place quite by mistake.

We ordered cheese curds and chicken wings (with Xtra Hot Sauce) to share; she got a buffalo (?) chicken sandwich and I chose an angry burger. The order came out fast and accurate; both of us remarked on how fast came, yet how delicious everything was.

While cashing out, we spoke with the woman who attended us; found that she was the only one on that day and was doing everything-- server, cashier, cook. We were floored; she was not short or grouchy; had we not asked, we would have never known the difference.

Since this place is two hours from where we live, we wouldn't go regularly. However, we are already planning to include it the next time we go to the York, PA area!

“Great experience on my first time in. My lovely wife and I stopped in for lunch today and were met with a friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. We ordered the fish tacos , which were amazing,the Cajun sausage and shrimp pasta, also amazing, and a house salad Topped with thousand island dressing. Pictures below. “I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.“

“Stopped in today for lunch. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the fish and chips, and the Alfredo with shrimp. Also a cup of coffee. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The appetizer was delivered speedily and was quite tasty with the fried banana peppers. The entree's followed. The fish and chips were well prepared, and the Alfredo with shrimp was excellent. The coffee was good as well. Prices are a bit high for the average person, but again, the food was great.“

“Beautiful place with an amazing panoramic view of the Susquehanna river both north and south. The food and drinks are great. Beautiful view of the sunset and the planes fly right over head enrout to Harrisburg International airport. You see the planes landing and taking off. The Sunset Bar and grill sits up on a hill with a great view. We also enjoy the live music on Thursday evenings.“

“This is my third time rattling here, and every time the food has been of a high quality and priced well. Tonight I have a cold, so I am having the Chicken Soup and Greg, who prepares all the soups from scratch, had done an AWESOME job on the Chicken Soup! I've had the Steamed Clams twice, along with boiled shrimp...excellent! The Cheeseburger and Fries are perfect.“
