The building itself is full of character inside and out, the coffee is amazing, and the bagel sandwiches are fresh and delicious! “Busy lunch place on weekends and totally deserves it! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is really great! Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! Excellent vegetarian options and delicious drinks. I got the roasted mushroom and gruyere sandwich, which had no business being as delicious as it was. Plus wifi and lots of street parking in the nearby area.“

“My husband and I were shopping and visiting family in the area. On our way home we decided to stop for some take-out before headed back up the mountain. We came across this little gem of a place. Los Compadres is a small restaurant big on Mexican charm. We both ordered burritos, Al Pastor and pollo. Once home, we dug right in and were pleasantly surprised! The burritos were huge and so tasty. We will definitely be trying more of their dishes.

“Love this spot! Such a warm and homey feel inside while still having a splash of classy! The employees are consistently friendly and always excited to greet you with a warm hello! A hidden gem in Belvidere you don’t want to miss! My go to is the iced chai latte but today was their special tiramisu latte. Perfection. I’m not a huge coffee fan but when I indulge I’m a sweet coffee drinker. This was sweet enough for me while still getting the coffee flavor coming through. The dollop of cream on top adds for an extra dash of sweetness. On top of all that, it was served at the absolute perfect temperature ready to immediately drink.“

“I do take outs. I like Double D. Most likely I figured, because I am a repeat customer, I get what I perceive as good service. Most Double D locations and cleanliness belong in the A circular.

Vegetarian options: There is nothing wrong to be a Vegan. There is also nothing wrong to be a beef eater. People have the ability to choose. They stay in their lane.

Parking: Nearly all Double D that I have patronized have adequately parking.“
