The food was very well prepared. My steak tasted juicy and like a prime filet should. The lobster Mac and cheese was even better than I expected. It was probably the best I've had anywhere. The service was excellent. The ambiance is not New York City. It's 1796, like the name. It's what you would expect from a resort built in 1809. It's lovely and frontier like. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic dinner and beautiful tavern setting. Perfect for an intimate dinner or special evening out. Only weakness is the noise level making some conversation difficult and extremely high pricing. Both worth overlooking for wonderful experience.

We've been going to the Bedford Springs for almost 50 years. It was very sad when it closed and sat empty for two decades. We still went by to check on it and sady watched it deteriorate. We were so grateful when it was rescued and reopened. The renovation is incredible and it came back better than ever. The rooms are beautiful, the service personable and perfect and the hotel and grounds are just spectacular. I can't imagine anyone giving anything other than other than...
