It is good. We have ordered cheesesteak and perogies for years. It’s been a few months since we’ve ordered, haven’t ordered since new ownership but it was always our fav for this meal. Today we decided to try the new and I hate to say it’s just not great. It’s good but not as good and not great. The bread, the meat, the cheese… not the same. The last 2 times I visited Carl's, I was disappointed. The quality and quantity are diminishing. ? I hope the Bethlehem go-to is not totally going downhill. The presentation was a bit sloppy. However, the counter lady is always very friendly!
So I was told so many times that this spot is THE spot to grab a cheesesteak. Naturally I had to make my way in and give it a shot. I loved the old time feel of the place and the old school style menu's and everything...this is usually a sign of really solid food to come. Unfortunately those two didn't equate here. Not bad, not what everyone said it was going to be.
