Not even midway through my meal staff knocked over water and spilled it all over onto me and my food. When they came back I told them I could not finish it because my food has ice and water in it. They took the food away and gave us our bill without even offering any sort of alternative or apology. We asked for the item to be taken off or for some sort of discount because I wasn’t even finished with half of the meal when this happened. We talked to the manager who comes and immediately acts defensive and extremely rude manner and just leaves after stating that I had “three spoons of food left”(not true) and refusing us of a discount after offering one previously. Kept saying “why are you fighting me”, I do understand that we might have come off as a bit upset but still for a good reason and I don’t quite understand why he immediately became so standoff-ish and aggressive with us. Another staff member came later after he left and applied a “discount” which was a military discount of $3 off of my item only and when we tried to explain our situation we were immediately shut off. Food also took forever to get to our table. Will not be returning.

Looks like a nice place but hours are not dependable. Website and Google both say open until 10pm Fridays. Arrived last night 9:05 with 4 people. Other diners still eating. We were turned away because the kitchen chose to close early. We won’t return.

I decided to treat myself to a New Years Eve dinner! Wow! This place knocked it out of the park! The amount of food received was amazing and the quality and flavors were the best!

I had the order placed through DoorDash and I received the food quickly.

I have only one complaint. I asked for my calamari to be fried extra crispy and it wasn’t.
Que sera !

I look forward to ordering from here !

Loved the food and ambiance. I would give five stars, but I refuse to do so, because the owner/boss loudly belittled a staff member in front of the customers. Yelled, is more like it. Treated him like dirt. Unacceptable. I will NEVER go there again. I must mention our server Salvador. He was WONDERFUL! I feel sorry that he and the other staff members have to deal with such a monster, in order to make a living. 😡

Used to go here a lot years ago, and so my son and I decided to go back.
Still welcoming, still a small place with a lot of tables, so it does get crowded (but not uncomfortably so). And still that homey feeling of a time that's come and gone. I always loved that it's a BYOB place. Still is.
The rolls, with all that garlic, so good!!
The food was really good too. Try the Gnocchi and the Mama Niña Linguine!
The cheesecake was excellent!! It's not cheesecake in the American, super sweet, smooth texture sense. It's a ricotta cheesecake, and really good.
So glad they're still doing their thing, and seem to be as busy as always.
We'll certainly be back!!
Check 'em out!!

Sooo, this place was way more than I expected. A group of friends and I were in the area from NYC with a serious craving for Italian food, and we decided to stop here. From the moment we walked in, warmth met us immediately. It was cozy, inviting, and filled with the most amazing aromas.

The waiter greeted us and let us know there would be about a 10-minute wait… which turned into maybe 4 minutes. Love that.

They seated us in the basement area, which was just as cozy and charming. Our waiter was kind, informative, and super helpful. I kept my entrée simple and went with the lasagna, but thanks to her recommendation, I added bolognese sauce—and WOW. That extra layer made all the difference.

But wait—can I backtrack for a second?? This is a BYOB spot, which I actually loved (especially as a non-drinker). They offered lemonade, and it was sooo good. Highly recommend the peach lemonade. Oh—and the garlic rolls? Top tier. No notes.

If you’re new to Bethlehem or just want a great Italian meal with excellent service, I highly recommend MAMA NINA!!!!!!

I popped in today to rectify a receipt for reimbursement purposes. I was also seeking protein -- I went with the Veal Fantasy . . . DELISH! WELL balanced . . . Just the right amount of artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, pasta and cream sauce . . . Truly, truly yummy in my tummy. I want to post a picture!! I can't seem to find that feature.

And . . . A SHOUT OUT TO DIANAH!! Service with a SMILE! Attention to detail, lovely and accurate. Thank you Dianah! I'll be back!

Oh! And as this IS BETHLEHEM . . . we were lucky enough to have carolers pop in to sing to us!!

Merry MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁!!
AND a HAPPY Prosperous New Year!

We called ahead of time to ask about wait times, they stated there was no wait time for a table of two… so we hopped in our car and headed over right away!! We got seated right away however we were placed completely closed off unable to be served. they handed us garlic knots through a small opening in the corner and then we were ignored for approximately 25 minutes. After making eye contact and trying to flag down the staff we got frustrated and left. We did not get any food, or even place a drink order. The manager, i believe, was serving the tables around us and completely ignoring us on purpose it seems. will not be recommending to ANYONE in the future. Due to it being a saturday night we couldn’t find anywhere else to eat, we were super hungry so we Ubered to wawa and ate hoagies in the parking lot.

A friend and I crammed into a corner table nearly touching shoulders with the gentleman at the next table. Yes I saw 3 other 2 seat tables. I ordered a dish that had a sauce with cream, which I have an allergy to dairy, so she said she would just leave the sauce off and that I could choose another, which I did tomato sauce. When I got the bill up charge of $5.95 for my red sauce which replaced the cream sauce as on the menu. Never mentioned I would be charged extra which was already $27. When I questioned the charge she said it’s always been that way. Well I’ve gone there for over 10 years. Not sure how long always is. I told her she should have told me and I would have said no sauce or choose another item. She just smiled. She offered another choice! My friend order veal fantasy. Very little pieces of veal. It was so saucy and she took it home in their to go container which didn’t even make it across the street before it started spilling out. It went into the garbage. This is probably the first negative review I’ve ever done

I ordered veal piccata. I’ve only had it fried with pasta on the side. This was one bowl of what looked like boiled veal pieces, red peppers, onions and spaghetti. It had no flavor and the veal, of course, was tough. Q

The food here is great and I've always received similar service. It's a bit pricier than similar restaurants but the portion sizes are huge enough to make up for it. You will be going home with a box. The major drawback is that it's very tight inside which can be a hindrance especially if you are larger or have children.
