Absolutely beautiful and friendly. Just 1-hr, from my home, this is a treasure that I was so impressed with. Beautiful hotel and city.
Sunday brunch was great. Everything was wonderful. We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday!
I did feel bad for the bellman and the parking valet having to be outside 24/7 in the freezing temps. I would suggest that maybe the management consider allowing them to wait for arrivals in the heated area. It’s just simply too cold for the staff to be outside freezing.

The Tap Room at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem offers a welcoming and upscale dining experience in a beautifully decorated setting, especially during special occasions like the holidays. The restaurant is known for its good food, friendly service, and lively ambiance. Guests have enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the Lobster Roll, Strip Steak, Branzino, and classic comfort foods like cheesesteak, New England Clam Chowder, and crab sandwich. The atmosphere is lively and engaging, often featuring live entertainment such as jazz nights with traditional jazz and jazz-age Speakeasy styles, where audience participation adds to the memorable experience. The staff is consistently praised for being friendly and attentive, although some reviews suggest that the restaurant's management systems could benefit from reevaluation to improve service efficiency. Cocktails and drinks like the Bloody Mary and Hennessy are also enjoyed by guests, with some noting that prices can be on the higher side. Overall, the Tap Room provides a good combination of good food, great ambiance, and enjoyable entertainment, making it a popular choice for both casual and special occasions in Mainstream Bethlehem.
