The buffet, is the logical choice. The selection and choices of food is good. The deserts offer similar choices. Really a great experience! Great tasting, and fast on drink refills and service. We were Completely Satisfied.

great place to eat.. buffet is huge, and has something for everyone. i ate 3 plates after a 3.5 hour ride to visit amish country for the weekend. wait staff super friendly and attentive. this isn’t traditional buffet, mediocre food. it’s very tasty and fresh. you won’t be disappointed. I will visit again when im in the area. hands down you can’t go wrong here. just be aware they are closed sundays (like most resturants in amish country).

Food is a little bland, but I understand someone is always going to complain about too much flavoring. The desert bar is delicious !

We used to love this place. However, we dined there recently and were extremely disappointed. The prices went up, but the quality of the food went down. The food was very mediocre, even the desserts.

Good breakfast spot if you feel like tootling around. While their breakfast selection might be more focused than a massive buffet, they do offer a more diverse a la carte menu for those who wish to forego the smorgasbord. The buffet line up ranges from from classic comfort staples like scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, and sausage, to breakfast casserole and scalloped potatoes (alongside perfectly crispy tater tots), there is something to satisfy every craving. Also available are pancakes, waffles, breakfast burritos, breakfast pizza, or quiche. For a lighter or sweeter start, they offer a fresh fruit, oatmeal, packaged cereal, toast, cinnabons and an morning sweets an to top it all off they have incredible SHOOFLY PIES! Beyond the food, the entire dining experience is incredibly pleasant. The atmosphere is super welcoming and relaxing, making it the perfect spot to ease into your day. To top it off, the service is exceptional; our waitress was incredibly kind, helpful, and had a super fun personality. She ensured we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed out the door. It is a wonderful, unhurried breakfast spot that truly feels like a home away from home. As a bonus, the restaurant has a cute little gift shop that is perfect for browsing after your meal!

We were a little disappointed with the lunch

This is our most all time favorite resturant when in Lancaster. We used to go to Shady Maple till we found this significantly better place. However, our recent visit was a disappointment. We are thinking they may have a new head chef? Our favorite foods from the buffet were so different. The fried chicken breast, usually so moist with a delightful fried golden coating, looked different and tasted terribly different. It seemed overdone as the coating was dark and hard. The breast meat was very dry and just didnt' taste like their usual best fried chicken ever. Now the corn, which I have raved about in the past as it was a delicious white shoepeg tender beautiful corn. What was served at our recent visit was a yellow, larger kernal...almost a field corn texture with little corn flavor. The sauted cabbage was under cooked, not tender like usual. The turkey was so finely shredded you almost had to use a spoon or shovel it with your fork. Indeed there was not alot of effort required to chew it. Would be excellent for folks without teeth!. The ham balls have always the been the best... sweet but also savory and delicious. Recently the sweetness totally overpowered the taste of the ham. Peas at salad bar, usually bright green and firm, looked like they came from a can rather than the usual vibrant from frozen. Last complaint: the choc chip cookies were so sweet, my sweet toothed desert loving husband couldnt eat them. The sugar in alot of the food this visit seemed grossly overdone.

We give praise to all other elements. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Price is fair with a senior discount. (Ask for the senior card at cashier.) Everything is super clean, buffet is well stocked and kept neat.

We will return and hope to find the problems cited resolved. The excellence experienced repeatedly in the past deserves another chance!!

Long time customer no longer. The act is up. Their only source of money is bus groups. Locals tried after the fire and have decided not to return. Mac and cheese made with canned cheese whiz isnt really grandma smuckers recipe. The food is dated. Same 5 meat options, turkey all year. No variety. Boring. Bland. Blah. Imagine cafeteria food in 1950s schools, canned, frozen, greasy, salty, fatty, sugary, dried out and unhealthy. Restaurant version of hungry man tv dinner. The $28 a person price tag isnt worth, go get a really good dinner at a really nice place for $28. . .this will be a disappointment.

Compared to other buffets in the area, the food was not close to as appetizing as the others. We were disappointed in the food, it seemed like it came from cans! No stewed tomatoes for the mac and cheese which was gritty and dry tasting. We went 5 years earlier and couldn't wait to go back, but never again!!
