“A couple friends and I stopped at Forrest Inn to pregame prior to an event. Seems like your typical dive bar when walking in. But Harry was a one man show; serving up drinks, cooking, running food, and amazing customer service. The food has cheap prices with great flavor. I went back for a second basket of the fresh cut fries. Definitely worth stopping in and checking it out. Daily drink specials too“
“We had dinner at the Skylight Cafe and Bar before a concert at the Santander Performing Art Center (within walking distance). Skylight is a family run restaurant that specializes in Latin American cuisine. There are a few Italian entrees on the menu too. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. My wife had a grilled chicken Caesar salad and I had a marinated grilled skirt steak with a side of sweet plantains. We hadn’t had plantains before and they were wonderful. We shared the Tres Leches cake for dessert. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Skylight Cafe.“

“My friends and family have been coming to Karpy's for many years! It's a great place to catch up with friends and family and enjoy a nice hot meal in the smoke-free dining room. Joe always makes us feel at home and has a nice frosty mug on the table for us as soon as we sit down! My 6 year old daughter loves the cheeseburgers and we've had many a daddy/daughter lunch date at Karpy's. Come for the most reasonably priced food and drinks around and stay for the conversation. “I absolutely love this place!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone. The owner is awesome. He always makes it a point to say hello or interact with the guests. They have a cute outdoor area along the creek. They play reggae music is so relaxing and fun. It honestly feels like you're on vacation and nowhere near boyertown. They have large grills to cook your own food and servers to help you cook as well. It's a cute little bar area. I wish they stayed open later, but I get why they don't. Prices are quite expensive considering you have to cook your own food BUT you get a lot- meat, salad, potato, bread and a drink AND the experience which is unique for this area.“

“I had not been to Union Jack’s in several years and was excited to go there a few days ago. Their menu is pretty robust with excellent pub fare, sandwiches, and wings amongst other items. We sat outside and received outstanding customer service. Our order consisted of fish and chips, a sandwich, burger, and two orders of wings. Everything was delicious. The strawberry habanero wing sauce is exceptional. We will be returning soon and exploring more items on the menu.“

“I really like Travelers Pub. I understand why they're a little bit pricey, trying to keep out the riff-raff, bums and dealer's & such. Only one minor complaint. While there yesterday with my Puerto-Rican neighbor, the rock music was blasting. However, as soon as my friend played two Latin songs, they lowered the volumn. They tried to say it was just by a 'notch', but that was corny. As paying customers, we deserve to hear whatever we play at the same volumn as the rock music. When told about it, I got the corny excuse with no adjusting of the volumn. That was not cool. It's not about what the barmaid likes, it's all about the customer's likes. We paid good money for drinks and music, so we should have had better service when it came to our musical preferences. Other than that, my experience with the T.P. is always good.“

“The crowd was pretty much what you would expect for a small bar 70 miles outside Philadelphia. The atmosphere was pretty welcoming and the bartender was super nice. As an obviously gay man I was a little nervous at first but had no problem meeting new ppl and having a good time. Even left with a number. ?“
“Nice place an food was good. Bartenders are very nice an efficient. The pool table is fast!! The one in the backnis the one in the front havent shot on. It gets busy so be there early to eat. Steak sandwiches are good pierogies are good wings also thats all I tried they have specials on the weekends I believe .“
