“Stumbled into this locals bar after hours while on a business trip. Got there in an Uber and it looked like no one was there - no cars in the parking lot. Surprised when we went in and found people! It is a dive Smokey bar- but the people were so friendly and welcoming. They have a jukebox you can control with your smart phone. Had such a good time here, we came back a couple of nights later - saw many of the same faces from the previous visit. Fun two nights“

“It is what it is. It's Hess's. I've been going to this place whenever I was living back home since I've been old enough to drink. Bartenders are all great especially if you know them. My only complaint is that it's smokey. I'm not a smoker but whenever I'm there I end up lighting up just because I feel like I'm breathing it anyway so I might as well.“

The thing that really stuck out to me was that our server, I wish I could remember his name to give him a shoutout, genuinely cared about our experience. In a world where customer service seems to be dying, this staff seems to really care about their patrons. “I just came here to write a review on a server named Leanne (sorry if I spelled it wrong) We came in Friday night while it was dinner time and busy with a party of 13. We had 6 adults and 7 kids with 3 different checks. Our server, Leanne was amazing. She was friendly, quick, didn't miss a beat. Went back and forth between our two tables. Nothing was messed up and I was impressed. The food was amazing and so were the drinks as always. But our server made the night. She even tracked down tums when desperately needed at our table. Best experience!“

“We’ve been to Jerseytown several times to dine in and have never been disappointed. The wait staff has always been very kind and efficient. Our food has always been top notch. Tonight we got dinners to go and they also did not disappoint. If you stop in make sure to try the pork nachos as they are my absolute favorite! We also had chicken Alfredo (delicious) loaded Mac and cheese (amazing), wings (so good!), and a steak salad (perfect). I was in and out without waiting and my food was still hot when I got it home to eat. Well done Jerseytown!“
