I accidentally found this place and I am glad I did. I got Tikka Misala and two nans, mom and dad make the food in the back. I don't regret going. I don't visit bloomsburg much but if I did I would eat here a lot.
Came here once with my boyfriend and had a terrible experience with the girl who was working behind the counter

Asked for no animal products but they served me ghee (butter) anyway
This was one of the worst Indian restaurants I have visited in the U.S.
We were visiting Knoebels Amusement Resort and, on our way back to the hotel, decided to order some takeout. We ordered Chicken Korma to eat at the hotel later that evening.
When we opened the food and started eating, the chicken had a very strong unpleasant smell and tasted as if it was old or spoiled. It was completely inedible. Had we been dining in the restaurant, we would have returned it immediately, but unfortunately we didn’t discover the issue until we got back to the hotel and had to throw the entire meal away.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Indian food. Save your money and consider other options instead. We were very disappointed, especially after looking forward to a decent Indian meal.

The smells as soon as you walk in are amazing and the food is just as good! Prices are also fair. Will eat here again!

I got the medium butter chicken and it is so spicy I can’t even eat it (and I love spicy food) beware of the spice level as mild is even extremely spicy. there is really big pieces of chicken in it doesn’t seem to be very fresh but it was still pretty good. The rice is just basic white rice and the naan is ok I don’t think they make it themselves

Food is great for Indian cuisine lovers. Naans by them are not what Indian cuisine is but more close to pita bread. Except naans everything was great.

I want this review to be taken with positive spirit improve the quality across the board. Quality of the chicken tikka masala and malai kopta I never ate this low quality with watery in last 25 years in USA. Owner must serve the quality food, keep the place clean.

This place was pretty good. Portion sizes were great, food quality was great as well, as you can tell it was fresh and made in house. Chicken samosas were ok, chicken tikka masala was very good, ordered the chicken biryani but got vegetarian (mid entered I think since it was vegetarian on receipt) but it was good. I am very particular with my biryani and rare to find one that hits like my moms or in India. Mango lassi was also delicious.
People working there were very friendly and provided good service. The place is very mom and pop and focuses on the food rather than aesthetics, but wasn’t bad. I’d say could use a little something to give more energy though. But overall, very good and would come back again and recommend. Especially if you’re getting tired of wings, pizza, and burgers everywhere lol

I've ordered Indian food all over this country and this place is superb! I ordered the samosa chat and gulab Jamun. Both standard Indian cuisine but these were special. The gulab in particular was extra delicious. I will be back for sure
Edit. I had to go back in for a lassi. It was just as amazing

Little confused by this college town restaurant. My biggest confusion was that the noun was thick and covered with cheese like pizza.

The worst Indian food I ever had
I dined in, so I can’t rate on speed of delivery. That said, my food was ready very quickly, and the staff is friendly. Only one star off of atmosphere because from what I could see the kitchen does not look spotless.

I was curious about this place because they have menu items you don’t typically see at Pakistani restaurants. Chicken Cholay, Adana kebab, chicken tikka biryani and cheese naan which is more of a sauceless pizza.
The atmosphere is fine- pretty dark and I probably wouldn’t eat inside. Service is fine too- very straightforward. ‘You called for takeaway? Name? Here is your bag, tap your card here. Goodbye’.
As for the food-
The adana kabob was absolutely delicious- star of the show. The cheese naan was good, just very heavy for me personally. The chicken tikka biryani was a complete miss. The chicken texture was almost like it had been microwaved with how rubbery it was. The chicken cholay was good but bland- nothing to write home about or try again.
I also tried the regular chicken biryani and it was exceptionally oily. I’m not sure if it was the last chicken of the day and they didn’t have enough gravy or what- but it was almost inedible.
All in all, if you’re wanting south asian food and this is as far as you can go, get the adana kabob and wait until you can go further for any curries or biryani.

I ate here a few times. The food is decent compared to Indian restaurants I had, but I also had the realllly good spots in NYC so it’s hard to compare.
The dine-in experience is not really good. They bring it out in takeout and don’t really care to make it homely feel to it. It’s efficient for sure cause you may not finish and you can just pack and go. This is more of a takeout spot than a dine-in experience.
