The menu is filled with delicious and unique handheld foods. I ordered the Dude burger and it was great! The beef patty was very tender and juicy with a sweet BBQ sauce on top. It also had crispy bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, cheddar jack cheese, pickles, and greens, combining to create a flavorful bite. Even the grilled brioche bun was soft, warm, and tasty. The burgers also come with their housemade torts, which are chips that are wonderfully crispy with a cajun-like seasoning. They didn't give me many chips, I definitely would have liked a few more to fill up the meal. The price was a bit higher than expected for a burger and chips, but it was a nice casual atmosphere and delicious meal.“

After the meal I ordered a milkshake to go as did several others standing around the register. The hostess jotted down the orders on a slip of paper and handed it to a guy behind the bar. I offered to pay, she declined. Said " pay at the bar." Shakes would come out and sit while the bartender tried to track down who ordered what then took payment. As the shakes say there melting. Folks just need to come out for great local entertainment!Their facebook page seems updated most often, but call to check if you're heading to a specific day. Stand-up comedy is 1st & 3rd Thursdays each month (at the time of this review), which is pretty enjoyable with both regular characters and new faces from all over. Fridays and Saturdays usually have live music that we haven't yet attended.The service at the bar and seated near the comedy stage is always great. This establishment downstairs works together with the one upstairs, which houses the kitchen and its own bar.??Ordering for gluten intolerance was reassuring and straightforward; before celiac diagnosis we had really loved their burgers, and the gf version is just as delicious without a bun, and I recommend a baked potato for your side. We’re paying about the same as one of Chicago’s best burger spots, but I usually leave there full. I never leave burghers full even though I finish my burger and fries. I don’t know what it is, I think the burger is not as filling as it looks? But it’s really good don’t get me wrong lol not a big fan of their beer, haven’t had one that I like that much yet. I’m more of an 11th Hour girl. But yes good experience overall and their smashed burger was way better than I thought it would be! I also love the CYO option because I Iike to add other veggies on top of the mushrooms. Yum!“
