“A great local burger and sandwich restaurant! The seating area is on the smaller side, with minimal tables and a bar, so be prepared to wait a little if it's during dinner rush. The menu is filled with delicious and unique handheld foods. I ordered the Dude burger and it was great! The beef patty was very tender and juicy with a sweet BBQ sauce on top. It also had crispy bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, cheddar jack cheese, pickles, and greens, combining to create a flavorful bite. Even the grilled brioche bun was soft, warm, and tasty. The burgers also come with their housemade torts, which are chips that are wonderfully crispy with a cajun-like seasoning. They didn't give me many chips, I definitely would have liked a few more to fill up the meal. The price was a bit higher than expected for a burger and chips, but it was a nice casual atmosphere and delicious meal.“
“Was looking for a good burger place in the area that wasn’t a chain. Five Guys has gone down hill.. This place was awesome! Great prices and good burger. Service was super kind, and very quick. 10/10 Recommend. Will be my new burger spot. And honestly its cheaper than some of these fast food combos..“
“Incredible! Family owned, service is spot on, and the food is delicious! BEST mole ever. The smoked wings fall off the bone. We keep coming back and each time we like to try something new. We keep inviting friends and telling everyone we know of this amazing spot. The margaritas are delectable. Leo, my only positive suggestion, the food hits the table warm not hot. ?? Xoxo“
“This place was absolutely incredible. As a Portland-based vegan, I was beginning to become seriously depressed with the plant based food selections in western Pennsylvania after only a few days out north of Pittsburgh. However, I found this spot on happy cow and decided to stop in before I left, and I am so glad I did.Not only is this a fully plant based restaurant, but their meals provide a quality balance of nutrients and are absolutely delicious! I got the ful madamas, a delightful bean stew, and my comrade got the black bean bowl, which was wonderfully spiced and came with heaps of veggies, as well as tofu. The atmosphere was incredible, the service was great, and overall it was such a breath of fresh air compared to the drab carnivorous pub food I found elsewhere.Even in portland we could use some great plant-based African-inspired food like this.A+, 10/10, absolutely will come here whenever I'm in the area.Vegetarian options: It's fully vegan“
“This pub makes you feel like you've been transported to a larger city. The vibes are good, it looks crowded but there's always somewhere to sit, and there's a decent selection of beer, wine, and other items. The only hassle is the non-existent street parking.“
“Kevin the manager here is literally the best. They got my order wrong and he was so kind and understanding! He continuously checked in to make sure I was being taken care of and offered me a drink while I waited! Really appreciate him caring so much! I stopped to write this review on my way out ?“
“Restaurant is actually accessible (not just "pittsburgh accessible" lol), no entrance stairs and it's all on one floor, including bathrooms and outdoor space. There is a parking lot across the street with curb cuts but it crosses a pretty steep street. Food is decent gastro pub fare (I think they have a gluten free fryer but not 100% sure) and the staff act like they are happy to have you.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is one floor no stairs“
“My girlfriend and I are recent regulars. It has quickly become our favorite brunch spot in Pittsburgh. The food is consistently amazing but what ultimately keeps us coming back are the people. They truly care about their customers and they quickly feel like a second family. I wish I could give this place more stars.“
“So glad I checked this place out. Queer/trans friendly, great for board game and dnd nerds like me, with good food at a reasonable price in a comfortable, quirky atmosphere. The smash burger was tasty, and we loved the white pizza. It was a bit greasy, but some napkins take care of that and it was so tasty. Lots of veg/vegan/gf options! Good beverage selection and byob if that's your style. Games to play or buy onsite. Online order was right on time, easy to use, and exactly as we ordered. The trivia night was lots of fun, Ian kept it tight and interesting with good music (not needlessly pedantic as some trivia hosts are). Not too loud either!A few (very mild) cons: Parking may be hard to find nearby. I would also love if they put a bench or two outside so I could eat my pizza there. We'll definitely be back! ❤?????“
“Service was fast and the staff were really nice. Atmosphere is also top notch, the cozy lighting and contrasting colors fit the name. My biggest complaint is the food. I had the #4 Best Seller with fries. The portion sizes are top notch, but the quality isn’t. Even with the double burger patty, it was super thin and the toppings completely drowned the flavor of the burger itself. And the bottom bun was completely soggy right when it got to my table. If you’re a person like me who likes everything to blend together, you’re probably best off getting one of their simpler options. I guess my order was just piled too high for my liking.“
“These ladies are the BEST !!! I've ordered from here over 30 times now, eat in & call ahead pick up. My order is always spot on, food is always hot & super tasty, done in a prompt timeframe. Always packed in there because they are so good & consistent. One of my favorite places to eat in Bloomfield. Thank you to the staff for always taking such good care of me & our staff here at P&W!“
“Stopped in while my granddaughter was at Mr. Smalls funhouse concert venue. Bartender was Awesome!! The food was Ok but the atmosphere was so chill and friendly ?Would definitely recommend it. They have digital jukebox and many televisions with sports on. Had meatball hoagie, a shot and 2 beers for less than $30?“
“I’ve frequented MOODZ Co since they were a juice bar, but I honestly understand why they’ve pivoted to serving food. It’s REALLY good. I realized I had to post a review because the oyster mushroom wings were 10/10 (I will say they’re more like a calamari texture in my humble opinion) I also don’t usually enjoy eggrolls but AJ (owner) recommended I try his vegan Philly cheese steak eggrolls and OMG they’re even better than the mushroom wings/calamaris. Seriously impressed and I’m glad they’re still around to serve vegan options to the Pittsburgh area!PS - I stole these pic from the MOODZ Co IG page because I ate everything too fast to document :)“
“A delightful breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant at the site of the old Pamela's restaurant. It retains the same basic layout, but with a new decor, and it feels much more upscale, spacious, and cleaner. The food is international in flavor, and is delicious. I needed to look up a few things on the menu, and I always enjoy finding new things, so that was great! The service is very good, too!“
“Burger was good. Slaw decent. Milk shake was good but would have been better had it not sat on the counter for 10 minutes before I got it. After the meal I ordered a milkshake to go as did several others standing around the register. The hostess jotted down the orders on a slip of paper and handed it to a guy behind the bar. I offered to pay, she declined. Said " pay at the bar." Shakes would come out and sit while the bartender tried to track down who ordered what then took payment. As the shakes say there melting. Seems like there had to be a better way“
“Ate here for dinner before a show. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The salad was delicious and well presented,it was so well displayed and the mint lemonade was phenomenal. My only complaint is the one bathroom (1 toilet), which I had to wait in line for. It was kind of gross inside too.“
“I've been coming to comedy night here with my partner for a few seasons. This place is a perfect, Pittsburgh-basement speakeasy for reviving the long-dry Bellevue community. Folks just need to come out for great local entertainment!Their facebook page seems updated most often, but call to check if you're heading to a specific day. Stand-up comedy is 1st & 3rd Thursdays each month (at the time of this review), which is pretty enjoyable with both regular characters and new faces from all over. Fridays and Saturdays usually have live music that we haven't yet attended. The service at the bar and seated near the comedy stage is always great. This establishment downstairs works together with the one upstairs, which houses the kitchen and its own bar.??Ordering for gluten intolerance was reassuring and straightforward; before celiac diagnosis we had really loved their burgers, and the gf version is just as delicious without a bun, and I recommend a baked potato for your side. Elated to report I had no issues eating here.Dietary restrictions: Celiac/Gluten: I felt comfortable ordering the burger without the bun, baked potato on the side. They also usually have at least 1 cider at the bar. I have eaten here (565 upstairs) and had no issues.“
“Very nice bar and restaurant with a farmhouse/hipster vibe. A lot of seating. Place has great natural lighting. The service was 10/10 our waitress was very hands on, kind, and attentive. The food was so good! I got the smash burger and it was phenomenal. Better than Shake Shack's double stack burger.“
“Great little spot with friendly staff / owner and nice local hometown feel ❣️ we stopped in for dinner with a toddler and infant and got a nice quiet booth where they provided coloring materials for the toddler as well as a booster seat. The service was wonderful! They also support a new local brewery (Magnetar) and the beer was delicious!!! We will definitely be back when we want a low key family night out ?“
“Me and my family had a wonderful time at the alcove, the karaoke and pool table were just some of the entertainment provided. The service was astounding. To put it in simpler terms, our server crushed it. The atmosphere gave gave a warm glow. The food was delicious. I will most certainly return!!“
“What a great neighborhood bar! Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. We sat at bar and everyone was friendly. We had the wings, smash burger and Buffalo chicken wrap. We also had the fries. They were homemade and fresh. Everything was good, portions were ample. Kelly, the bartender was very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back.“
“Ordered takeout from the app. This meal was delicious. After traveling all day my daughter wanted their sliders and to eat them in the hotel. I enjoyed a an amazing bacon burger with green beans as the side. If you like beans I encourage you to try this as a sun for fries. My wife ordered the steak bites with a very nice side salad. The order was later than the app told us but the place was packed for a Friday night.Parking: They did not have parking for takeout orders.“
“Great service, delicious sandwiches and large portions for the price. Since the meat was tender, our 14-mth old tried the Wiz, the Cathedral and the Butcher and loved all of them. We will be back since it is a short walk from the National Aviary, Carnegie Science Center and Children's museum.“
“Unfortunately this place is just built into a bar, so consider getting all your food to go and eating it somewhere more peaceful. Staff is friendly and food is mostly good; fries were delicious, but stay away from the maple chicken. It's literally just dry chicken wings drizzled in table syrup. Burger was above average for Pittsburgh; somewhere near Five Guys quality. I miss BRGR.“
“We were highly recommended to this restaurant and really enjoyed it. The bbq chicken was tender and really good. The home fries were very delicious. The roast beef cheese steak was excellent. Our only complaint was the red potatoes were very bland and lacked any kind of flavor. The atmosphere was very neat and we especially liked the table clothes that were made out of jeans. We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“BSB's is the place to go for wings here! I used to live here about 8 years ago and moved away for that time period, but as soon as I moved back in 2023, I had to get some of their wings! The wings are just as incredible as before and their flavors are insane! The menu might look a bit intimidating with all of the crazy fun flavors, but trust me, you won't get a bad one from them! They are all so unique and different.Do yourself a favor and go to BSB's to try some of their wing flavors! Their subs are also fantastic!“
“We love Rachel! My wife and I went on our first date to Stinkys over a year ago and had Rachel as our server and bartender. She was so friendly and attentive and made our first experience so wonderful. We came back again last week and was hoping to see Rachel again and we did! She was our server again and gave just as great as service as the first time. Food was great I definitely recommend the wings and stinky chips. My wife loves the wedge salad. Awesome atmosphere. Thanks Rachel we will definitely be back again soon!“
“Chill restaurant. Big bar area downstairs. Good knowledgeable & friendly service. Checked back on us often.Took all the "flame burger" toppings and put them on brisket instead of a burger patty. Would eat it again in a heart beat. Crazy juicy good brisket.Mac n cheese is super creamy and not too heavy. Loved everything!“
“We stayed in the Airbnb above Jamison’s. We had the Siracha Dry Rub wings and a burger and they were delicious. Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. We came back the next night and had some drinks, played darts and had some Buffalo chicken dip. Bar had great vibes, very cozy. The tap selection was very good also. Hope to come back to Pittsburgh and Jamison’s soon.“
“This is a local pub. The kind that would usually have the same seat taken by a ‘regular’.There is smoking allowed in the bar, but a small dining room in the back if you prefer no smoking or non-bar atmosphere. But you will still smell the smoke. They have great daily specials and a decent menu. The ladies who work there are attentive and friendly. This is a go to spot for me for lunch or dinner. Good portions and on the inexpensive side.“
“Was there Saturday evening with four friends. First time. This is a very welcoming and friendly place. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. We were very well taken care of. And everyone loved their food. The soup of the day was Wedding Soup. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items that I couldn't decide on. Highly recommemded!Parking: In addition to on-street metered parking, there is a metered lot across the street with lots of space. And it's cheap.“
“Fairly priced, good food and excellent drinks. We were there to see Motorcycle Drive By, a killer cover band based out of Morgantown West Virginia, and they were amazing. The sound guy did an excellent job to make sure that the band sounded great.I'm a musician myself and unfortunately I had forgotten my earplugs BUT they have free packs at the door.Protect your ears.Awesome time at Hard Rock Cafe.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is on ground level and there are no steps to enter. They also have a convenient ramp up into both of the seating and dining sections.“
“Average place for some burgers and brews. Not as popular as it once was and that may purely be because of Waterfront's mismanagement. I'll be back because it's right next to AMC and its way better than shelling 16$ for stale popcorn and a drink but I won't be craving the food anytime soonVegetarian options: Veggie patty burger is pretty good. Impossible is great too!“
“Breakfast critic: 2nd best place to eat around here outside of my own kitchen! First visit and I am hooked. Wedding soup was so close to moms recipe I almost cried. Omelet was phenomenal. If I could have given them a 10 they would have got it. Highly recommend!!!! Can't wait to come back to try the dinner menu. Been to a lot of places for breakfast and this one takes the cake. And that banana creme pie is calling. Do yourself a favor and stop in sooner than later.“
“I’ll start off by saying if the prices were lower, I’d be giving them five stars. The burgers are honestly very good but for what it is, and the portions, I feel it’s a tad overpriced. We’re paying about the same as one of Chicago’s best burger spots, but I usually leave there full. I never leave burghers full even though I finish my burger and fries. I don’t know what it is, I think the burger is not as filling as it looks? But it’s really good don’t get me wrong lol not a big fan of their beer, haven’t had one that I like that much yet. I’m more of an 11th Hour girl. But yes good experience overall and their smashed burger was way better than I thought it would be! I also love the CYO option because I Iike to add other veggies on top of the mushrooms. Yum!“
“The range of culinary opportunities to explore here is wide, which is only boosted by their well balanced and crafted dishes. I like the rough hewn, subdued atmosphere, the on tap selections, and my servers have either met or exceeded my expectations. Also, their menu is funny. I really like coming here.“
“We celebrated my Dad’s 70th birthday with family and friends at Coach’s. The food was fantastic and the service was great! The owner was on-site, making sure our large party was taken care of. Our waitress, Nicole, was quick and kept our drinks coming. It was a really great night we will remember forever.“
“I've never wrote a Google review before, I was compelled to do so because my food was 10/10. I loved my burger, it was such a good burger. I doordashed and I got it and it was still hot, it was a heavenly burger--and I am very particular about burgers. I was so satisfied that I will be ordering again because it was just that good. Money is valuable and money spent at Tallgrass burger is money well spent.“
“The food is so good. The portions are big enough for two people. I had the hot turkey sandwich and it was like Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey is real turkey not pressed luncheon meat. I love comfort food and this was amazing. Definitely a favorite!“
“Big fan of this dive bar! Perfect place if you need quick food and a drink, and can sit at the bar. Also great to go with a group after a long bike ride on the trails! All the wraps are 10/10. Pump track wrap and rail trail are my favorite. I've had the best burgers ever here but they are not consistent. I think it depends on who is cooking because sometimes the are cooked to perfection, and other times they are dry and over done. But the toppings are always unique and good. Service is what you would expect from a dive bar, always friendly and attentive but let you be with your food and beer. Cool place.“
“After trying Pizza Pronto while I was in the hospital 4 months ago, yesterday we traveled over an hour just to have this pizza again! It is so good! Definitely worth the drive. We highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza or Pierogi Pizza.“
“Was in town over the weekend for the Steelers game and wanted to check out places I’ve never been.I knew when I walked in the door and the bartender was wearing a Pumpkinhead shirt I had found what I was looking for. This will be a must stop whenever I’m in Pittsburgh and next time I’ll make sure to come hungry. Menu sounded bomb!“
“The Apple Cinnamon French toast was decent, and the potatoes were just average. The bacon was nicely cooked and the fresh squeezed OJ was delicious - I got 3 cups! The service was friendly. It’s a small place, so they can get a bit cramped on weekends. The coffee was standard breakfast coffee, nothing too noteworthy. Overall, 4/5 for this place because nothing was bad about it, the OJ and bacon were delicious. The rest was average. Likely won’t return because there are some better places to get breakfast around.“
“I really enjoyed lunch today with my boyfriend a d son. We had Brian! And we don't come here as often so we didn't know what to get because they had a great selection! He recommended an app for us which was bomb, our meals he did make recommendations, and our drinks that came from the bar and was also great! Manager did table touches and checked on us and we had a great lunch thanks RR“
“Started ordering from Veltre’s when I worked and lived in Swissvale since1987!! Their pizzas and Italian dogs are the best and everything you order is always fresh and hot!! When my daughter in NY comes home to visit the first thing she wants to do is order the Italian dogs!!“
“Journee was a very nice waitress and overall I enjoyed my visit. They have free wifi and a plug somewhat close by if you need to charge your laptop (bring a long cord). The bathrooms are super nice and they do a good job of managing food allergies. All that being said, unfortunately every time I visit a burgatory, the food is always just meh. It doesn't really have much flavor and the gluten free bun was stale. If they can fix that I would definitely come here more oftenDietary restrictions: Gluten free bun available“
“The guys were so friendly and professional. My food didn’t take long. I just saw that they were open and decided to give it a try.I had the shrimp n grits and it was FIRE!!!!!! The potatoes looked a bit on the dark side but they were not burnt and tasted good. It wasn’t overly seasoned. My grits tho! They were creamy with a sweet taste. I wished they served breakfast more than just a day or so out of the week ?. I tried to come back the next morning lol. Please give this place a try. I’m a fan ❤️“
“Inferno Pizza is one of the best around the Pittsburgh area. We shared our pizza with one of our neighbors and he texted us with OMG, Yummy & it was still hot! From the girl that answered the phone to the cook to the delivery person, you guys are great !“
“Can't beat the value of the Saturday buy 2 get 1 free chicken thigh sandwich deal. My only complaint is that the size of the chicken seems to have shrunk over the past year. Taste is competitive with other chicken sandwiches of its price range. Other menu items can be a bit lackluster, hence only 4 stars.“
“This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a Mcdonald’s, the workers were so nice and efficient even when we were being difficult. The drive thru window workers were incredible and our food was delicious. Everything about my experience was a 10/10!!“
