The absolute best veggie sub I've ever eaten! The prices are extremely reasonable, the restaurant is clean, the employees are very nice and orders are always correct and made quickly.

Based on reviews, Peppi's | Old Tyme Sandwich Shop is a fantastic place for a great Philly steak and chz or cheesesteak. The beast steak hoagie and the Blazin Saddle are also highly recommended. The food is fresh, and they use Mancinis rolls. The atmosphere is casual, chill, and fun. The staff is great, very friendly, and always make customers feel welcome with a joke or a laugh. The restaurant offers tons of options, including burgers and fries, with indoor seating and drinks available. It is one of the best subs in the city for a great cost, even during an environment where everything has increased. A must if visiting Pittsburgh, especially after the Heinz museum. Highly recommend Peppi’s.
