“We had a PHENOMENAL experience with Koren's Kitchen in July at a surprise 80th birthday for our mom. Over 30 people enjoyed delicious food. Koren and her team were engaging and fun as they navigated the kitchen, passed hor de voures, and set up the main food area several times. The food station looked beautiful in presentation. Top notch from first call until total spotless clean up. I can't recommend Koren's Kitchen strongly enough!! “Ashley was a 10/10. She was nice, attentive, she honestly went above and beyond and it felt natural. Those brussel sprouts do it every time. So good. The drinks were just OK /not her fault. Tons of ice in the marg and not really any flavor. She fixed this tho. The atmosphere is low because there was flies every here and there. Other than that we had a great time. “Started using Homecooked meals during lockdown...If you're into the boxed delivery meals you might want to check out a local option which is similar price per meal. They delivery locally or you can pick up by the Paoli train station... Enjoying meal prep... I got today's lunch, a meal for later this week and four frozen dinners for later. This is from their full serving meal that feeds 4-6. They also have half servings. I'm not sure it is planned, but the nutritional breakdown in the meals I get are balanced to meet my Mediterranean diet needs. There are high carb meals too. The food taste level is like eating out at nice restaurant...“

“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

Inside, I was surprised by the variety of baked goods, past the usual cupcakes and cookies. Multiple refrigerators house cheesecakes, cake cups, tiramisu, breakfast bakes, monkey bread, and more. We bought a seeded card (Mother's Day is around the distant corner) and a chocolate strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was dense and creamy with a crispy Oreo crust. “I was introduced to these cookies years ago, and they have become my go-to choice for special occasions for many reasons. First, they are absolutely delicious! Second, I appreciate their business practices. Just yesterday, I ordered some cookies, and although they usually ship the next day, they weren't able to get into the shop due to the ice. I received a thoughtful phone call from a man named Mike. He informed me that they typically do not ship on Fridays, but given the inclement weather, they would be making an exception. He even apologized for the delay. You rarely get this kind of courtesy call from businesses anymore.“

“This was our first time trying this place out. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious. Our starter, the hummus platter was sooo good! For dinner, I had the bruschetta chicken and my husband had the trout. We both loved our dishes. I took my leftover chicken home to my son and his only complaint was that I didn’t save him more haha! Looking forward to our next visit!“
