“Authentic, cheap and super tasty Mexican food!! Loved how friendly the staff was and the music playing made me feel right at home. Went with an order of 3 different tacos on their super soft flour tortillas that were charred perfectly and topped with a good amount of cilantro and raw onions. The barbacoa(pulled pork) was my favorite out of the three because of how flavorful, tender and juicy the meat was. Could eat that with plate of rice and beans every day easily. The tinga and the lengua were also super delicious and must try options when coming here. Those sauces tho they have at every table just made the tacos even better. Loved the spicy red sauce and the green sauce chilled it down just a tad to add a beautiful balance that made every taco a delight.“

“Kinda loud, can get packed, but if you're a fan of a full-functioning bar, sports and amazing pizza, then this place is the place for you. Wings were great, garlic knots were great and, of course, the pizza. Their pizza sauce is definitely something different (in a good way), so don't be a chump and get the white pizza on your first go. There is a bar, but that doesn't mean you can't bring your kids. There is a separate dining area for the family with a fair amount of tables. I think you can buy packs of beer to go, as well.Parking: Generic parking lot. Wraps around restaurant, so not a lot of walking.“

“Had “The Paesano” from Paesano’s in Philly yesterday. This is in the Italian market area of South Philly which I love (aside from finding parking) and the people who worked here were all super friendly and helpful.I posted a picture with the ingredients for this one. This had a flavor that I’ve maybe never tasted before all wrapped in one. I enjoyed how it all played off each other (I could eat pepperoncini on anything and be happy too) and the roll was wonderful.Unfortunately I will say that the brisket was a bit tough, which surprised me. I believe it was cut on the wrong angle but there were multiple bites where I really had to tear at it. Had this brisket been as tender as it should have, I’d put this sandwich up against most sandwiches in the city…and I mean that. Put a properly trimmed and roasted brisket on this one and it’s up there with the best roast pork’s and cheesesteaks around imoDefinitely Didn’t Suck, but did leave room for improvement for sure.Check out video and more content on this spot and many others on my social media pages here - https://linktr.ee/Didnt_Suck“

“The BEST cream filled doughnuts I have ever had. The filling itself is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The texture of the doughnut was exceptionally well done as well. The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. Not as heavy and crispy as I like a fritter though.Choosing from 2 cases of minimum 30 doughnut 0 do not recommend.Eating any variety of doughnut they have: 10/10 would recommend going every day for 2 weeks to try them all and enjoy favorites. The only issue is that you have to go all the way to the basement to use the restroom and you aren’t able to take the stairs to exit out the first floor. The happy hour food is great, but the drink offerings and discounts are thin. Something to be aware of: the “dirty double” martini is not actually a double, so that’s kind of misleading. Service and food are great though, so I definitely still recommend checking this place out!“

“I initially thought Platform Z was a bit of a strange name for a poke place, but once arriving it was immediately obvious that the name was due to the fact that this place is inside of a cute little train station! The service here was absolutely outstanding. The staff who were present the night we went for date night were very kind, patient, and eager to help with menial tasks like even giving us a bag as we were walking out the door. The kitchen area itself was very clean and all of the food was fresh. The lighting in the restaurant itself was a little bit lacking in terms of atmosphere, but I don’t really fault this place for not having absolutely perfect feng shui. The food here was really good! The portion sizes on the poke bowls are honestly massive, easily enough for 3 meals. The boba in the boba tea was a little undercooked, but nothing to complain about. The miso soup here specifically was easily the standout out of everything we ordered, I don’t think I’ve had miso soup that good in months.Whether you’re just passing thru on your commute to work or you’re coming here for a date, I highly recommend!“

Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling. There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. I did enjoy the Pepperoni, but the classic was so good, I would probably just get more of it next time. The craziest part of this experience was how cheap it is. Each of the pies is between $5 and $6 and they're big. We also tried the French toast crepe, which has an egg incorporated into the batter. Interesting. The espresso is good but the cappuccino is weird; they don't pour the milk through the crema at all, so it's mostly foam on top of a single shot. It can be folded through but I think next time I'd just get an espresso here. I really like that they have reusable cutlery and crockery, and service is brisk even when they're crowded. “Gotta give this sweet cat cafe props for a comfy atmosphere and the support the business gives to its resident feline rescues. Loved the experience of dining here. The food and coffee were all right, but a little on the pricier side. My friends and I split our bill and left at different times, so there was a little confusion about what was already paid. But luckily the paid paper receipt covering my friends' orders was discovered, otherwise I would've been stuck paying their bill. This hiccup occurred largely because the bill is paid at the front counter, and it would've been troublesome if the paper receipt was lost in the shuffle had the cafe been busier. Tip: Make sure to tell the server ahead of time who exactly is in your party and how you want the bill split to avoid any confusion. Without a digital system, it can be a little hard to split bills later, especially if people leave at different times.“

“Matthew Holland: Great atmosphere, great people, great pizza, and even a great name for a worthy establishment. I found out about this place because it is located near the So Much To Give Cafe establishment that I work at. To treat myself after a rewarding shift there, I went over to Olce’s to take out some pepperoni pizza. I was worried when I heard that my take out order would take 40 minutes, but was relieved when the pizza came 10 minutes earlier than expected. While I was waiting, I took a night walk around the area as well as talked to Amy, who is one of the kind employees who works for this restaurant. She was of fine company and very friendly. I proceeded to share the pizza with my twin brother Tyler which we both enjoyed to the maximum. The pizza was more enjoyable than the stuff at other places like Bravos or PaIermo’s due to Olce’s possessing pizza with thinner crust and less greasy pieces of pizza. Just perfection. The pizza reminded Tyler of sweet, sweet Boboli pizza, while for me, it was more than just the pizza’s flavorful taste when I put it in my mouth. This pizza gave me a new memory to think about and also serves a kind reminder that I should return to Olce’s sometime next week or two.“

“I ordered the Philly Alfredo with rigatoni to go and it was wonderful. It was made right away and came out piping hot. They make their pasta which results in nice soft noodles with a pleasant texture. The sauce was flavorful with lots of cheese. Portion size is decent. It isn't huge but also not tiny. Something to note is that there are more menu items posted on the self serve ordering screen than the menu board. They have flatbreads, focaccia, and other appetizers. Edit: We went bad the next day to get more and it was just as good if not better! This time we dined in plus added tomato and spinach (which I highly recommend.)“

My son favorite meal in all of the Reading Terminal is Fox & Son’s fresh lemonade, a crispy and hot classic corn dog, and a side of their perfectly done cheese curds…it’s a family favorite and we look forward to it every time we go to the RTM! They are also gluten free and it’s always amazing to have such a delicious option for my friends and family who come in to Philly to visit and are gluten intolerant.“

“Tony's is great. Some of the best pizza in Montgomery county nestled right on main st in north wales.I wished they would deliver but it would push up the prices.I order from here at least 2xs a month!Edit: been almost 10 years since my original posting of this review and Tony's is STILL my #1 pick for best pizza in North Wales, Lansdale, Montgomeryville. Have been to most of the locals places and nothing else really comes close. Still kinda wish they could deliver but its so worth it, I'll still hit the hop in the car, and tap MAC and grab a few pies!Parking: There are 3, 15 minutes spots directly the front and free parking in the lot, accessable in by the alley behind. Never once have i had an issue.Wheelchair accessibility: Handcapable entrance is in the rear from the parking lot.“

“Highly highly recommend this Black Owned Business!! You will not be disappointed!!! Best cupcakes I’ve literally ever tasted - which is saying a lot because before Kia’s I did not like cupcakes!!! I’ve tried so many flavors - even flavors I “knew” I wouldn’t like - and I still liked them! It’s wild how good Kia’s cakes are!!! Top favorites of their general cupcakes: Vanilla Oreo, Carrot cake, and Red Velvet! The cupcake specials for the holidays are amazing - and for Black History Month they did punny cupcakes that also told a story of the person that they were honoring - so sweet and important. Other foods that are there like the Iced Pound Cake and the Banana Pudding are equally as amazing as the cupcakes. Recently tried the “Irish Potatoes” which were a special for St. Patrick’s day - they have coconut in them, and I don’t like coconut - but I ate so many of Kia’s Irish Potatoes!! All of this to say - try all the flavors and offerings - it is all so tasty!!!Vegetarian options: They also offer vegan and gluten-free options too!!Dietary restrictions: The team is super mindful of dietary restrictions and honors your requests!Kid-friendliness: Brought our baby in, and the team was so kind to him!“
