Franzone's Pizzeria is a popular spot, known for its remarkable pizza dough and perfectly temperature-controlled ovens. The sauce is slightly sweet, and it's spread in a spiral over the cheese, which is dry and bakes into the dough for a crisp bottom, crunchy middle, and gooey top with just a touch of sauce. Parmesan, red pepper, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic are always available on the tables. However, there was a complaint about a cheese pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese having more sauce than cheese on a particular Sunday. Despite this, the sweet sauce was appreciated by another customer who found the pizza to be quite impressive. Overall, Franzone's offers good beer and cocktails, friendly and quick service, and a nicely set dining area that has been updated and moved to a new location since its last one.
