“I can’t post pics bc we ate all the food and licked the plate! ????♀️ we ran in here in a pinch between stops and it did not disappoint. We got goat baryani and Aloo tikki chaat. The place is bigger than it looks on the outside, is very clean and calm, the staff (and owner) were easy to work with and offered food samples and suggestions. They had a good North Indian food selection. We will def make this our go to when we are in the Robinson area. ?“

“The food is amazing! Flavorful and fresh. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the South Hills. My go-to is Veggie Chow Mein with an order of Momos (dumplings). We also love the Chicken Biryani and Tikka Masala. The name of the restaurant has changed from Sagun to Allegheny Spice Kitchen. The new menu is huge so don't be afraid to try it all!“

“Usually go to Indian restaurant on McKnight road for lunch buffet, but decided to try this as it’s in the neighborhood. Not much in the way of ambience/no music/no decor. But the food is fantastic! Very tasty, well prepared. Looks like a family run business and everyone takes pride in what they do. And it’s always a good sign when you see Indian patrons eating at an Indian restaurant.“

“Excellent lunch spot for Indian food! Friendly staff that can explain clearly the menu including accurately depicting spice level. I had their Chicken biryani lunch special and it came in the perfect portion size along with the vegetable side (green beans). Price was very good as well as a bonus! Clean and quiet, highly recommend for a casual lunch in Pittsburgh“

“the food is pretty good... but the service is Horrible!! Super slow... no smiles or greetings if you're not Indian. One guy waits on the whole dining room is completely rude and non-verbal... I decided to order to-go last night instead of being ignored in the dining room again and they said 40 minutes... I waited an hour and a half for it! the guy tried to put a Diet Coke for free instead of an apology... I dont even drink Diet Coke. The food is fine but they dont care about the customers at all!“

“Pleasantly Surprised! Before I go on about the food, I have to give credit to the young man who was our cashier. He explained everything since it was our first time in a very concise and patient manner. Very affable personality! The food: I got the lamb which was excellent but next time I'm going to get the chicken as they're grilled on a kebab in ceramic barrels. The brown rice and veggies were perfect. It comes with one sauce, but I got 3 additional as they're only $.35 each. I'd do it again. Tamarind Apple was my fave but I'd still get the other 3 again (I don't like Ranch, I'm not a yinzer.). I also got a side of naan. Excellent as well. I'm looking forward to this being a regular spot when we want something quick and effortless.“

“The food here is amazing. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, it's a must. If you want your food spicy, ask for a 8+ when ordering. The only mark against this place is the inconsistent/slow service. Other than that, I would eat here every day if I could.“

“Delicious dinner with a friend. We ordered naan (onion/garlic), lollipop chicken, samosa pav and the Tikka Masala chicken. I wanted the crab curry but they were out. I will return to try it for sure. Delicious food. Nothing was disappointing. Good service.“

“The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional. I frequented visits this restaurant during my college years, and it has been more than 7 or 8 years since then. Surprisingly, the taste remains unchanged. It's truly remarkable how this establishment has managed to preserve its flavors over time. Memories from the past come flooding back, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The owner is not only extremely friendly, but also very knowledgeable when it comes to helping customers select their meals.“

“My husband picked up dinner on his way home. He got Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Curry. This was his first time going in a while so he was very impressed by the renovations and touch screen order system. He said it was quick and loved the fact that can could pay for our food right than and there.Chicken Tikka Masala: very good but has some spice to it. The chicken was tender and the sauce was flavorful.Lamb Curry: had some spice as well but very good. The Lamb was seasoned good and tender as well.Garlic Naan: Huge and good. I can only imagine what it taste like hot and fresh.Parking: Street parking was easy.We would definitely order again.“

“This version of the Indian buffer is one of my favorites! Small dishes of all the daily specials so you know it's fresh. Each one is more delicious than those that came before. The service is also some of the most gracious and attentive. Definitely come here!“
