“Had dinner here last week with several others for the first time. The owners are SO kind! They explained details and answered our questions to find the exact dishes we all wanted. The food was beyond fantastic!!! The flavors and spices were just right for each of us, and we will definitely be back!!!!“

“the food is pretty good... but the service is Horrible!! Super slow... no smiles or greetings if you're not Indian. One guy waits on the whole dining room is completely rude and non-verbal... I decided to order to-go last night instead of being ignored in the dining room again and they said 40 minutes... I waited an hour and a half for it! the guy tried to put a Diet Coke for free instead of an apology... I dont even drink Diet Coke. The food is fine but they dont care about the customers at all!“

“Happened to be in the area to visit a plant nursery near by and realized we were starving for some lunch and found this spot. I had the rose milk, which was velvety, light sweet and floral, and overall delicious. For my entree I had the veggie thali and garlic nan. The paneer is made in-house and the quality and taste is exceptional. The service was amazing and fast. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming and the atmosphere was so cozy. Highly recommend! We will be back to work our way through the whole menu.“

“Food was so delicious, I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu. The Momo we had (Chilli, Fried, and Sadeko) were really (like really, really) good. You could tell everything was made fresh. I you like dumplings (who doesn't) you will be really happy with their momo. We tried a few curries as well, including the butter chicken--yummy. Really yummy. I'd been wanting to find a good Nepalese restaurant and this place was recommended by someone from Nepal, so I took their advice and I'm so glad I did. I will be back for certain. Plus the people were extremely kind and welcoming.
We got a lot of food, probably more than we needed, but I have no regrets. Can't wait to go back!“

“We recently dined at this Indian restaurant, and it truly felt like being transported straight back to Hyderabad. Every dish we ordered Lamb Shank, Chicken 65, Zeera Rice, and Dal Fried was bursting with authentic flavors.
The spices, aroma, and tenderness of the meat were absolutely perfect. It’s rare to find food in Pittsburgh city that tastes this close to home.
The service was exceptional warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff made the entire experience feel special.
The ambiance was awesome, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed, flavorful meal.
If you’re craving real Indian flavors, especially Hyderabadi-style dishes, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.“

“Route 51 Restaurant is a little slice of Heaven. If you like Indian/Nepali food, go there. Everything was excellent. Best Masala Tea ever. We had Steamed Veggie Momo (so good), Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Tandoori Chicken. Will will most certainly be back!“

“I took my husband to Salem’s for lunch for his first time. He spent a year in Syria and has missed the country, culture, and food ever since. He said the naan, hummus, and shawarma tasted just like it did in Syria. Then he asked if I can bring some home every week.“
