“We do not have an Indian restaurant where I live. It is my favorite cuisine. I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I will go no where else but this place going forward. So happy a decided to stop on a whim!“

“I ordered from here and it was delicious! I got Dosa. It was so flavorful. The two young ladies at the front entrance were so kind. I order pickup through door dash. It was ready super fast and everything was accounted for. If u go try the coconut rice as well. It is really good paired with their vegetable Korma 😋“

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.“

“In our recent visit to Pittsburgh, we thought to try Choolaah and it was really nice. The ambience and staff were very welcoming. Particularly Carlos, took time to explain the menu and ordering details. We tried Naan wrap, Butter chicken bowl, Pav bhaji and mango lassi. We really enjoyed our meal and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely visit again soon to try other menu items.“
