“Awesome dosas. Some non south items were not good. Guess everyone knows this place by now. It looked the same for the past 100yrs ?. Great food, bad ambience, but no body cares, no need to renovate when the consumer does not care I guess. I will go again for the dosas.“
“A poem about the delightful experience I had of enjoying an Indian thali at India Garden of Monroeville, PA, USA. In the heart of Monroeville's bustling scene, Lies a garden where Indian flavors convene. A thali awaits,& Singh could whip up a feast so grand, With lamb and chicken, spiced by Singh’s masterful hand. Naan, soft and warm, fresh from the tandoor's glow, Dips into curries where spices freely flow. Cumin, coriander, turmeric bright, Each bite is a journey, a culinary flight. The sizzle of tikkas, the aroma of basmati rice, India Garden's thali, a paradise of spice. A symphony of flavors, in harmony they blend, A meal to remember, a joy that never ends. I feel this poem captures the essence of the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. Enjoy your meal at India Garden! I did. Geo Wong“
“Mint is the bestttttt! I never have issues with my food. Spice is always to a T! I honestly love their food to the point it’s finger licking good lol my toddler loves it! I order the butter chicken, chicken samosa, garlic naan… ? ????.. There are more good dishes but my favorite is butter chicken and the goat dish (can’t remember the name) Clean, friendly, fast and DELICIOUS! Order up !!!!!!! 1000 stars“
“The food is the star at this neighborhood Indian restaurant. The butter chicken is excellent, but the southern Indian picks we’ve ventured into are AMAZING. The B2B House Special w/ chicken is our go-to w/ its caramelized onions, charred tomatoes & bell peppers - and super flavorful ginger/garlic brown sauce - OHLALA! Other faves: samosa chaat, garlic naan, vizag Kira (yum curry leaves!!), & dal. All totally reasonably priced. The family that runs it is so earnest and friendly - we just love giving them our business. We’ve mostly ordered takeout, but the other night we ate in the restaurant. It’s BYOB - w/ no corkage! The atmosphere is a bit spartan (eek, dropped ceiling), but they've don’t their best to warm it up and give it some personality. We just love this place!Vegetarian options: Quite a lot of veg options, & the owner at a nearby table recently was bending over backwards to accommodate a vegan. They’ll go the distance to ensure you’re happy!“
“I went there to have a buffet lunch. It was really good and the services were great too. I even go for dinner with friends there now and then and there treatment is really well and organized. Thank you so much for the good food!Vegetarian options: It’s mostly paneer and they also have daals.“
“My mom and I came here for the lunch buffet and both of us have been so impressed with the flavors of everything! The staff has been very friendly and attentive, and I just want to reiterate again — their seasoning is so on point. I’ve never tasted chai like the one they serve; it’s almost floral. I’m writing this from my lunch table feeling full and oh so happy. Yay Spice Affair!“
“All of the food I got from this place was very high quality, pretty decently priced, and had solid portions as well. Super fresh and tasty. I tried the chana masala (chickpea curry) and the peshwari naan.Their chana masala came in a good portion with lots of flavor/seasoning. Whole chunks of chickpeas, good quality. Sauce isn't too thick or thin. I do think that the meal was too spicy for my liking, even though I chose a 0 on the spice scale. Good rice portion too.I was super surprised by the naan. I've never tried peshwari before, so it was totally new to me, and I loved it! It's a sweet naan stuffed with some dried fruit, coconut, ground almonds, and a few other things. Almost like a dessert. And it's so good, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and very tasty/sweet.All in all, I quite liked this place. The chana masala meal was a bit too spicy, but the peshwari naan was incredible. Definitely recommend that!Vegetarian options: Lots of curries that are vegetarian, classic Indian options“
“What a happy accident this place was! Looking for noodles and stumbled into this gem. Amy behind the register was so knowledgeable and warm and she truly made the experience memorable! The food is all fresh and real. We will be returning not only for the food but also for the service!“
“My wife and I ordered dinner. When ordering I asked for vegan options because my wife cannot have dairy. They said that the Aloo Gobi was vegan and I just ordered two.Well, the lady taking orders was very kind and hospitable. She asked the cook if there were other options and took the initiative to call me back and offer other dish in a vegan way (chana masala). For me this will be a memorable example of great hospitality.Dietary restrictions: They adjusted my order to make it without dairy (butter). Very hospitable restaurant.“
