“We decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at Eddie V's. We had dined there before and enjoyed the experience. When we got to our table, it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and had an anniversary card for us. This was such an unexpected, special touch. We started our meal with the wedge/bacon salad and decided to share it. It was garnished with well-done bacon strips and the dressing was freshly made. We both had seafood choices for our entrees - the jumbo shrimp stuffed with seafood and scallops with polenta. The seafood was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. We had the Russian River chardonnay to accompany the entrees. The surprise was the dessert complimentary by the restaurant. It was bananas Foster, 2 chocolate cookies, and a dollop of ice cream. Our server, Leidi (spelling?) was great. She lit the bananas Foster and truly made the dinner have a dramatic and very tasty ending. The restaurant manager, Christine, came over to chat with us and ask us about our dinner. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the seating is not crowded. Valet parking on Oliver Street is convenient. You can go from car to restaurant and not have to carry a coat. We will return and so glad we celebrated our anniversary at Eddie V's!“

“My mother and I go somewhere nice downtown every year for Christmas Eve dinner. This was by far the best food, service and atmosphere we ever experienced for our Christmas Eve dinner. My mom had the lobster bisque and salmon. I had the prime ribeye. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Madison was our server, gave us exceptional service and added to the full experience. I would highly recommend....do not sleep on Del Frisco's, put it on your must eat list“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner for twelve there last Friday evening. I had made the reservation with Doug, the very nice owner, a month prior after he graciously showed me the restaurant. At Doug's suggestion, I called ahead that day to have some appetizers ready when we arrived and they were there, hot, fresh and delicious when my guests arrived. The restaurant was very busy but the food and service were excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and drinks they ordered. Farrah, our server, was friendly, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend DeBlaze 131 and hope to return there soon.“

Now let me tell ya, so grteful for that change in plans!
Donnie was our server and let me tell ya, he was a delight! He answered all our questions and gave recommendations. Our water glasses never made it to the halfway point before getting filled.
The apps came out very timely, food came out hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and presented nicely.
Their drinks are mixed right and delicious. Definitely will revisit next time I'm in Pittsburgh!“

“Shawn and his staff knocked it out of the park on our recent visit last Saturday evening! Place was packed to the brim and yet the service and food were all spot on. Our server Laryssa was on top of everything we needed and was such a nice gal. The kitchen was turning out a ton of food but our appetizers came out quickly and our steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered. Shawn came over and introduced himself between bussing tables and asked if he could help the staff with anything. Super nice guy who was working right alongside his people to make sure our meal was great. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying another evening with these fine folks soon!“

“This was our first time dining at the restaurant while visiting the area. Our meals were delicious. I ordered the Steak Trio, French onion soup and au gratin potatoes. My wife ordered Faroe Island salmon and a house salad. The steaks were cooked medium rare as ordered and the toppings an excellent addition. The onion soup was among the best I have tasted and the potatoes perfect. My wife's salmon was cooked medium well as ordered and was delicious also. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere elegant for a special dinner.“

“We had family visiting from out of town and requested a window view. We weren't right next to the window but we were close enough. The food was great, as well as the service. There were some extremely loud people in the bar area next to us the entire time but other than that everything was fantastic!“
