“We have been ordering from here for years and it's always been consistently good, the older women that takes our order is always nice, the food is just above average, they never messed up our orders, Oh! and they have the best pizza fries!“
“We had a nice lunch today! I loved my eggplant, tomato, and avocado tower. My friend loved her tomato basil soup and bacon grilled cheese! Our server was attentive, timely, and informative. It's a great go-to place at any time. Parking was plentiful! This time, we had some apps. Service and food are still great!“
“This is the best restaurant that I have eaten at in a long time. I've had take-out, delivery, and, catering services done for my job by these beautiful people in this place. Today Caesar and his family catered for my job and let me tell you, I could not even get a picture. The presentation of the food was so exciting. Everyone dived into the food immediately. Everyone, complimented the food because it was so fresh, clean, and delicious. Everyone at the meeting was so happy! Normally, I do not eat at any of my job functions but I made a huge plate. It was so delicious. Mind you, the price for the food that they generously gave us was too good to be true. I am so grateful for this beautiful family. They're so loving and the way the food is cooked, it is cooked with so much love. If you are ever in the area of Trenton NJ, I highly recommend eating here. You will not be disappointed. You will be welcomed with open arms and leave with a happy belly.Happily Signed By,One Happy Customer, Joy :-)“
“I don't typically rave about anything in this life, but when something exceeds my expectation, I make it known!I heard about this restaurant from a friend, tried it last night and I am hooked! Beyond excellent service, food is to die for. I had the gratitude griller and I have made it my goal to eat every menu item before I leave Jersey. I said once a week, I will treat myself to a meal from shokra, but I am already failing because I am getting dinner tonight again from there! You are not just a customer who walks in to get food, I was paid attention to, my food was nicely packaged and a heart was drawn on the food box, made me feel special?.You will not be disappointed, give Shokra a try. Well worth it. I definitely don't need meat if I can eat food this good without meat in it.“
“We came for a late dinner on the evening of 3/26 and it was our first time there since it changed hands and reopened as South Star diner. We both ordered seafood/pasta dishes and were highly impressed!!! The food and portion sizes were very good, from the Caesar salads to the entrees to the bread basket and to dessert (which we took to go).The diner is very clean and has a welcoming nostalgic charm when you walk in with a beautiful display of various cakes. It looks, smells, and feels like everything a diner should be. We were immediately seated and asked our drink orders, and our main order taken within minutes. Very pleasant and relaxed experience — did not feel rushed like you do at some dining establishments. Overall everything was outstanding without a single complaint.I’d also like to underscore HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Thank you! It is a huge treat to the local community and very much appreciated. I sincerely hope it stays this way especially since you’ve earned yourselves 2 regular late night customers :)“
“We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Food comes out piping hot.Servers are well educated on the menu and are always in a great mood. Kennedy was so friendly and attentive to our needs. Juliana the hostess is tremendous and Danielle the manager keeps the restaurant working harmoniously.Parking: Park near the Gap it’s a short walkKid-friendliness: Large dinner areas with tables in nooks and crannies to allow for all ages to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Facility is ADA Compliant“
“I've been hearing for a while that the E has the best bar food in the area and my first visit didn't disappoint. The kielbasa was great, the hot wings were actually hot and the pizza looked excellent. I can't wait to try more items off of this menu.“
“I had hoagies from a lot of places throughout Northeast Philly to South Philly and in between. Point is, this is the mecca of Italian Hoagies. Grateful they made their way up to my old neighborhood. The hoagie is stacked with enough meat that a half will probaly fill you up. Quality and quantity is hard to be beat.“
“The absolute BEST sandwiches & salads in the area!!! I’m so picky when it comes to hoagies and salads but they knock it out of the park!!! Amazing staff and service. Never have been disappointed in any of my orders here and I order daily ?“
“I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Food was absolutely fabulous I got two Burgers an order Of onion rings, and an order of fries with cheese on the side. They read the comments that I put on each order of special requests, and not a single thing was missing. Looked like a husband and wife was working there, and although it was late at night, I was shocked they were practically dead. So glad to have found this place and got to enjoy it for the first night in my new home. Got the style sauce on the side because I wasn’t sure if I would like it and it was great. Will absolutely be back!Dietary restrictions: They had so many options for buns including gluten free!“
“Our server was the best. The food was so good, 3 of us had lunch my granddaughter had pancakes. We all brought food home. I will go back if in the area.Parking: Plenty of room to park. Parking all around the diner.Kid-friendliness: They have a pretty good kids menu.“
“I live in Piscataway NJ but work in Trenton…I ordered a hoagie(we call them subs where I reside) from this location and all I can say is..WOW!!!!!..DELICIOUS!!!!!!.I have ordered sub sandwiches from local eateries where I reside…and this place here, has them all beat…Thankyou for introducing me to the best hoagie sandwich in NJ.“
“The new Deli Fresh Deli in the Penndel Shopping Center is the creation of local hero Johnny G, who has operated many kitchen eateries in the vicinity. He took over and remade a former Subway, bringing full delicatessen sensibility and local color to a commercial zone that really needed a bright coat of paint. Johnny was on hand to take my order yesterday and introduced himself. I got the short story version of his colorful restaurant history, and I realized that I had eaten in his former place on Brownsville Road a few times and enjoyed it tremendously. My expectations rose accordingly. The large front window sign proclaimed the roast beef, turkey and pork were all roasted on site. Good enough suggestion to order a large Roast Beef Hoagie (w provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, hot pepper hash and sweets) on a handsome sesame seeded long torpedo roll. Wrapped tight in white, and our conversation concluded (after sampling the tortellini salad), I drove home to open it up on the kitchen table. First glance at the stuffed sub and my salivaries exploded. It was visually compelling. First bite confirmed that it all worked together perfectly to tantalize my tastebuds. It was a tremendous chomp and chew. Excellent crustiness, followed by folded layers of pink roast beef, provolone and all the rest. This was a mouth party to beat the band. Texture and flavor combined to have me close my eyes and savor the moment. I managed to eat about a third of it, and rolled up the remainder for later enjoyment and family sharing. Deli Fresh is the real deal for Italian style deli delights. They even have a pickle barrel for those who love cukes soured in brine. Its time is now.“
“Awesome group of people who are always friendlyVegetarian options: Not a vegetarianDietary restrictions: Don't go to a deli if you are on a diet to much temptationParking: What can I sayKid-friendliness: Kids are always welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Ramp out front plus staff will always be there to help“
“I recently went here on a little dinner date nothing too special and the food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness was wonderful! The only thing that threw me off a little bit was our waitress wasn’t as friendly as others and seems too serious…. Now I am no one to really tell someone how they should be with other but that’s your job to make customers feel welcome stuff like that would make a person think and sometimes ruin a persons experience. Now luckily it didn’t ruin my mood but I left early because I felt unwelcomed I still tipped her a good amount because you never know what a person is going through and also you must kill with kindness .:)Also there is this dish they have that have fried shrimp and fried veggies and all I’m gonna say is if you’re not a fan of a greasy taste then don’t risk it lolKid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu available with crayons and coloring pages in the menu. They also have games in the tablet but my partner mentioned they are not free they’ll automatically be added to the bill. Now I don’t know how true that is but just keep that in mind!“
“Since we've moved to the area few years ago, this has become one of our absolute most favorite spots period. The owner is great, and so is everyone that works there.Customer service is pretty spectacular, along side their hoagies! The ingredients are SUPER fresh and high quality. They actually cook their own Roast Beef.I always rotate my selections between the Italian and The Big Beef. If you're trying to save your arteries a little bit from fried food, then you easily grab a side of their macaroni salad or potato salad! Also, see if they have any crumb cake in stock! It's a perfect sweet to finish the meal. They sell out fast, so get it while it's there! This place will definitely become your new favorite spot!“
“My 1st time here as a suggestion from a former co worker and friend (whom we both use to like Cava ) let me tell you I'm so glad I came here for dinner ? ?! And it was all under $15 - with a beverage too !The decor is very cute where you can see the jersey of spices and pickled veggies ?It wasn't very crowded which was great for me ! It was very clean ,spacious and the food set up was also clean ??. The music ? was a great touch ???I was greeted by a young lady ( Nurgis) with a smile ,which helped ease my mind on being a 1st timer here ?. She was also working on restocking dressings , vegetables, & keeping the station clean ,which is key ? for me as I observe staff while dining .Wilfredo was the associate who was patient and took my order . I was happy that they had a " create your own " option ,so I created this amazing ,collection of delicious vegan options ?! I was able to get unlimited portions ?what I liked the most was that Wilfredo wasnt stingy with each one ,like other places a.k.a chipotle ?-- ( I didn't have to ask him for a scoop of anything !The falafel was delicious! The 2nd best I've had since ever Ammon Market.Everything was seasoned perfectly, fresh and I thought I would have leftovers ,but baby I ate it all!! ???????.I got a lemongrass drink from the fountain and that was not too sweet nor too bland. This is going to be my new place to come and MEZE or ? Relish“
“Frey's Deli & Pizza sits in a small strip center on northbound Lincoln Highway (Rt.1) in Penndel, PA. It is an unassuming place with a few tables, a big front window, and prep area in the back for pizza and takeout. There isn't much in the way of provisions in the refrigerated display case, but what they do have is either made inhouse or Dietz & Watson. I asked about their tuna salad, and was advised it was prepared fresh that morning and a popular seller. Good enough for me, I went with a whole hoagie with lettuce, plus sweet/hot peppers. Opened it back at the office. It was heavy in the wrap paper, and substantial upon opening. Not only was the tuna as good as advertised, but the roll had a nice crust and texture that was a pleasure to bite through. Quality sandwich all the way. Tasty, and not the least bit fishy. Just enough mayo to hold everything together and blend perfectly with all the ingredients. One of the better deli sammies of recent memory. Prices were good, too. Only downside - there wasn't much to chose from in the drink department. Definitely would benefit from more selection for washdown. But, other than that, Frey's was a very pleasant surprise nosh.“
“I've been there for dinner and for lunch, during the week and the weekend, from pizza ? to sandwiches to the burgers and fries have not had any bad things to say about them at all, nothing but great things to rave about, can't wait to try more of this menu which is very large indeed. Can't wait to try “
“Excellent food way better than any other chick fill a. Horrible service. I ordered and paid for my salad it , it was not completed until I come to the parking lot. That system should be changed. After waited for about 5 minutes, system said the food will be delivered and from that point it took almost 5 minutes .There was only one server to deliver and distribute the food for the pickup and curbside. The kid who deliver my food had no idea how true system works. He said I should not have ordered until I am at the curbside parking spot.“
“I ordered a pizza on Saturday night and the pizza arrived it was Made incorrectly. a quick phone call and the issue was resolved. They delivered another pizza and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Everybody was happy. I will Definitely be a customer going forward. Great customer service, and great pizza. A winner in my book.“
“I'm in there at least 4 times a week. Food is great. Their the only pizza place in the area that I will go to.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options you can choose from that do not contain meat. For example - pasta dishes; different salads; plain pizza or other pizza that you can put mushrooms; green pepper; onions; olives; etc. If you don't see it on the menu ask and they will accommodate you.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. They have booster seats/chairs for the young ones and a bubble gum machine.“
“This is a great place. New owner is super nice and engaged with the community. Food is fantastic and fast. Way fresher than Wawa. Highly recommend you give it a chance! Plus they have lots of little grocery items which Croydon needs because we don't have any actual grocery stores.“
“You'd be hard-pressed to have a bad experience at any Chick-fil-A, and this location is no different. I work in the area and occasionally come here for lunch. It's a nice enough experience that I almost always choose to dine in. Everyone is always friendly, the store is clean and well-kept, and no matter what I order, it's always fresh and tasty, and the service is prompt.“
“My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here today. It was absolutely tasty! The seasonings all meshed well together and everything was delicious! Our waiter was very professional and paid attention to details. The owner came around andgreeted us to make sure all was well and so did the cook. We highly recommend attending their Sunday brunches. Thank you for a great experience. Keep up the good work!“
“Food was hot and served promptly. Disappointed they were out of the sourdough boule (bread) by 5:30. Wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. Reservations recommended 2 weeks in advance if you have a particular time in mind. Will return in the spring for their outdoor dining with river views.“
