“Great service but the food was of low quality. I ordered lobster mac and cheese. There was no lobster in the entree but instead three shrimp on top. Mac and cheese had no flavor. Food was overpriced. This was for Valentines Day. We were seated in bar area and had to listen to bartender complain about people calling in for reservations. Staff was all hanging out at bar area.“

“Since the dawn of time people have been going to the hitching post for food or drinks. While the place may seem a bit run down the food and service are top notch. It is a good place to get some local DuBois Flavor. . If you really want an adventure they rent rooms by the hour.“

“My beautiful wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Tannery as we have been doing for the last couple years.
The food is always excellent! The dining area is always clean and has a nice warm and comfortable feel to it.
You can dress formal or not and still feel very welcome with the great staff.
We had the broiled haddock and the chicken marsala for dinner.
Both very good.
The haddock was a little heavy with the lemon pepper seasoning but still very good. Perfect texture.
The chicken was so tender and juicy and not overloaded with sauce as some places do.
The tater tots were crispy and done the way tots should be done! Yum!
