I'm pleased to say the cheese steak's here rivaled any of the iconic, celebrated steak shops I visited in Philly. I stopped here on the way to Delaware - real easy diversion. One of the better atmosphere's as it has wall to wall Philadelphia sport memorabilia and has a staff-family vibe.
I want to say this up front, the only reason I give this awesome cheese steak place four stars is because IMO Leo's steak shop is the absolute best place to go for this type of sandwich.That being said, Phil & Jim's makes incredibly delicious sandwiches. And I would gladly recommend it anyone looking for a "Best of Delco" cheese steak/hoagie experience. Just go. Get one and you'll see what I mean.

Love the cheesesteaks here. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome and appreciated- which is a bit hard to found now. A bit tough to find a parking spot but people are coming and going often so with a little patience you’ll find something.
