Vegetarian Restaurants in Brookville

“So I visited the Cook Forest area again and wanted to stop at Copney's BBQ. Well they weren't there, but in their place was Devil BBQ. My wife and I ordered 2 meats with 2 sides. We went with pulled pork, brisket, Mac & cheese and a cornbread muffin. The place was busy but service was good. The food was delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Located right next to Macbeth on Rt. 36.“

1st off, The hours posted here are wrong. They close at 10:00 p.m., not 8:00 p.m.

My food was excellent, and we'll get to that in a second, but what put this place over the top and got that fifth star, was my server, Brice (sp)?

This kid is a machine! Granted they weren't busy, but he was taking care of all the customers that were here, and very keen to detail.

This guy definitely needs a raise or higher position.

I walked in 45 minutes until closing. Now at most Denny's wait staff would scoff, sigh, and roll their eyes and reluctantly show you your way to your table. Brice? Take care of a customer that was paying, let me pick where I wanted to sit, cleaned off my table, got my drink and took my order.

I'm a pain in the ass sometimes when it comes to ordering, so I ordered a Cobb salad with salmon, that didn't want any carrots or croutons, and wanted both balsamic and blue cheese dressing. He didn't need to write anything down, told me he would get my order just the way I wanted it, and boy did he!! He came back to check on me and refilled my drink.

This is one of the best salads I've had at a Denny's, at least an early long time.

Decorum is your typical Denny's, and one of the cleaner restaurants I've been in, I can say.

I knew exactly what I wanted for supper when I knew I was getting here from Jersey. And this is one of the rare times that I was excited and anticipating great meal, and actually got it, with the side of excellent service.

Thank you Denny's Brookeville, and thank you Brice for being the benchmark and setting the bar for what Denny's nationwide SHOULD be!

If I'm over through here again, I'm definitely stopping back for another great meal!“
