Food is just okay, if you want real indian food then go to the city, wouldn’t recommend way too salty and overpriced. They are a deceiving restaurant.

Food was actually really great. I ordered 4 out of 7 spicy. I wasn’t ready but I was able to finish happily. I did get take out but the staff was amazing. Completely walking me through the menu. I only got the chicken app and some Nan bread. Very happy! Juicy chicken and the Nan helped lower the spice. I will be back with more pictures.

We ordered Garlic Naan, instead we got Garlic Tandoori Roti. We thought the restaurant might have made a mistake and called the restaurant. The restaurant was adamant that they didn’t make any mistakes and this is Garlic Naan, I wish they visit India soon and experience an authentic Garlic Naan, or may be a good Indian restaurant in the area.

Enjoy the photos from my trash can. I ordered take out. Ordered plain naan. Received garlic and oil naan that was clearly stale. Couldn’t even chew it.
Tendons in my chicken vindaloo sauce. Large chunks of garlic. Potatoes were crunchy. Meat dry.
Spouse’s goat was tough and went in the trash.
When I called the restaurant the resolution I was offered was a free naan next time I ordered. The food all literally went into the trash.
Save your money and go elsewhere.

Restaurantji Recommends
Had dinner last evening at Nirvana in Bryn Mawr. While the food was quite good, I was very put off by both the poor (unattentive) service and the $10 corkage fee that was added to our bill. Online, the website says that the restaurant is BYOB, so we brought a bottle of wine with us. Nowhere on the website did it mention a corkage fee. The $10 is of little consequence, but it’s absolutely annoying to have an unexpected fee show up on the bill. When we questioned the waitress, she said they had a liquor license, so of course there would be a corkage fee. (We looked at the ‘bar’ as we left . . . Maybe half a dozen bottles of Bailey's and other miscellaneous drinks … hardly a fully functioning bar.) Because we had questioned the added fee, she said she would remove the charge. She did not. The food may have been good, but there are plenty of other good restaurants in the area without hidden fees. (And better service.). We won’t be back.

They may be operating without a liquor license. They tried to charge us a corkage fee. There is no mention of alcohol being sold on their website that I can see. The server showed us on her handheld that they do sell wine and beer. Food was good but service lacking.

The food was excellent, but our experience was ruined by terrible service. Our Vegetable Samosas, Shrimp Goan Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo Saag were all cooked perfectly with great flavor and exactly the requested level of spice. When we arrived (6pm on a Sunday), we were the only customers in the restaurant so the service was fine. After a table of 4 arrived, however, the sole server couldn't keep up with both tables and take out orders. After a few requests for water refills, we finally got tepid water. Far worse was being ignored (with our server ducking into the kitchen rather than even looking at our table) or put off when we tried to get the check and (self serve) to go containers. We waited well over 30 minutes after finishing our meal to get her attention and the check. She did bring a single free dessert as an apology, but by that time my wife had already left in frustration and I had no interest in staying to try it. Skip the dining room and opt for take out.

I have absolutely enjoyed this restaurant. First thoughts it’s extremely clean inside and it’s beautiful inside cool little vibe. The customer service was really good my server was amazing. We had started off with the Veggies Samosas , then we ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken curry , goat curry , Chana masala and buttered garlic naan oh and the tiger shrimp that comes out sizzling everything comes with rice. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious we were a table of 4 but that amount a food could definitely feed 6 people. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back and visit. There is outside side parking ( pay on the park mobile app or use quarters ). You can dine in or do take out !!
