Goodbye, old friend. It was with some saudade that I learned this place had closed in early February. As an aside, it really speaks to how badly Yelp has fallen off that such a local institution could be closed that long and it still not be updated on the site, but I digress..... While this place may not have had the greatest final run stemming from the sanitation/rat problem they had a few years back, there is no denying that for decades this was one of the finest restaurants...read full review
Rumor has it that Yangming will be closing it's doors for good. I will miss it, superb food, at lunch and at dinner, good service and a landmark on Haverford Rd and the Ardmore/Bryn Mawr neighborhoods for many years. Good memories.
This has been a easy and well Enjoyed restaurant in the area. It has finally been sold. The food is good. Asian pear salad is good. Steamed veggies if you want some healthy items. Let’s see what the new owner does.
