Potato Coop Reviews
Friendly staff, quick service, but the food was disappointing for the price. The smash burger was pathetically small…more like a smashed slider. Cheesesteak was good but nothing special…not even a foot long or super stuffed, just a basic cheesesteak. Smash burger, cheesesteak, 2 sides of fries, and water and lemonade for $40…just not worth the price.
Terrible order taker, keep playing with his hair, while taking my order...
Visiting Pennsylvania from Iowa. Absolutely amazing food. Staff was wonderful! 1000% would recommend the crab loaded potato with fresh cut fries

Potato Coop on Linglestown Rd features a clean and sharp storefront, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The fried chicken sandwich is highly praised, with many customers comparing it favorably to Popeyes chicken sandwich. It comes with the perfect amount of pickles and the delicious “coop sauce,” which is a standout. The menu also includes the Italian cheesesteak, smash burger, and sweet potato fries, all of which receive positive reviews. Customers particularly enjoy the waffle fries and fresh cut shoestring fries, with some noting that light seasoning on the fries is ideal. While the chicken wings and Mac ‘n cheese received mixed comments, the overall experience is centered around comfort food done well. Friendly service and a carefully curated menu reflect the care and quality put into each dish at Potato Coop. Parking in the new shopping area adds to the convenience, making it an inviting spot for a satisfying meal. Recent reviews mention that the food remains good, especially the burgers, smash burger, and chicken tenders. Fries are generally crispy and well-seasoned, though one customer found the fries a bit burnt and hard on a recent visit. The cheese steak baked potato is popular, though occasionally they run out of potatoes, which can be disappointing. Service has been noted as slow compared to other places, but the quality of food keeps customers coming back. Overall, Potato Coop continues to be a place for comfort food and friendly service.
