Oliveri's Crystal Lake Hotel

Told me a price for a monthly rate the first night there but could not pay for a month that night, so we had to pay over a hundred dollars for one night. He said it would be no more then $650 or $700 for the month. The next day we got a sealed envelope from him with it saying for the room he wanted $950 for the
month, and also $950 for a security deposit. We didn't end up staying because he would t honor the price he quoted when we first got there the night before. He should not say one price then add a few hundred dollars and a security deposit on top of the raised price. For that I'd get a whole apartment!

We celebrate our Anniversary at Oliveris every year. The atmosphere is throwback, exceptional food and service, relaxing, well-paced meal from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Couldn't be more exquisite! I just went to dinner there so I can't comment on rooms. I say the location is excellent because they have outdoor dining overlooking the lake. But if you're just going for dinner it's about a 35 minute ride from Scranton, but well worth the drive, as there is no other place like it locally.The staff is utterly attentive. It's also beautiful overlooking the lake while the sun sets. Most importantly is the food. There was a group of us getting together as we went through school with everyone. We chose a five course dinner. Each dish was excellent. Served in a perfectly timed manner. There were several meat dishes which were extremely delicious. All dishes we had were as well. The cost for each of us was $90.00 for five courses. Very fair price for quality dishes.Also, it's so refreshing sitting outside close to the water. It creates a beautiful environment while dining. We ended up staying quite a long time, it may have been past closing, yet they never made us feel uncomfortable and never rushed us. If I had to choose among other restaurants, I would choose dining there above all other places. Perfect for special occasions.Food & drinks: As I stated, the food is five stars. There is also a bar on the deck so you never had to wait.Noteworthy details: Again, dining outside overlooking Crystal Lake is simply outstanding.

Fantastic dinner!

Not allowed there because of legit, no reason, the owner doesn't even know who 6 am. I had a full conversation with him just fine, then got a phone call at 2 a.m. demanding that I leave. Obsurd to say the least, rooms are super outdated from the 70s, grass is never cut, parking lot is horrible, with the exception of a few people everyone else who stays there are either drug addicts or scumbags. The gardens look phenomenal, but that's about it. ✌️?

It's a rare occasion when we experience a phenomenal dinner with a breathtaking view! We truly savor the delight. The service is outstanding and the food is delectable. This was an exceptional night that we immensely enjoyed. We had the chicken cappelletti soup to start and by far this was the most delicious cappelletti soup we have ever tasted. For our entrees we enjoyed the Salmon, NY Strip and Entree Salad prepared with the freshest veggies and shrimp. Amazing does not even begin to describe the flavorful, culinary creations that were second to none. Without question this was an all around sensational occasion. Beautiful waterfront restaurant with delicious food. My family has been coming here every year, and we are consistently impressed with the quality of food, service, and view. If you’re looking for a relaxing meal in a scenic location, this is your spot.

I’ve never stayed at the hotel as I live 20mins away but have been to the restaurant a few times. I love the outdoor seating next to the lake, great view with a very comfortable soothing atmosphere. The service is great and the menu options I believe are rotated and changed often. I love everything about this place but if I had to pick a negative aspect here it would be the pricing. I just didn’t feel the quality of the food and pricing were in-sync. Not to say the quality was lacking, it wasn’t. Really good presentation with decent portions but the prices just didn’t sit right with me. Overall it’s a great experience but be prepared to spend on the high side.

Easily some of the best Italian food and service I have ever had in my life. Patrick is a chef at the very pinnacle of his field and I have never left this restaurant not absolutely ecstatic. 10.00/10.00
