Ah man! Everything was wonderful. Curried goat, rice and peas, plantains. I should have gotten a to go box for the leftovers, but I ate the whole thing! Plus I tasted my partner's meal too. Cole slaw, mac and cheese and fried chicken. All very good.
Love love love this place! Owners are beyond lovely - always kind, always helpful. But the FOOD! I've never had a bite that was anything less than fantastic. Normally, I'm a find a favorite kind of girl, but I'm making my way through their menu because I need to try it all! Jerk chicken? Amazing. Tender. Delicious. Brown stew? Comfort food defined. First time ordering here. I just moved to the area after the last hurricane hit FL losing my home. I was feeling homesick today looking for comfort food, I found this gem. Everything on the menu sounded so good that it took me a while to decide. I went with the Jerk Chicken (Large) platter. I got the sweet plantains, rice and beans and cabbage I also took advantage of the bogo deal on the Best Mac & Cheese. I never watched the map on door dash so hard waiting for my food...
