Promptly seated and welcomed for 4:30 dinner. Waitress Merci assisted us with ordering our Belgian beers. Pleasant conversation while ordering our meal, frequent rechecks, aided us in ordering desserts. Hubby mentioned no tax on her tip because of President Trump today!
Delicious dishes nicely prepared and a cozy atmosphere inside. The staff was sweet, forthcoming and attentive. We were walk-ins on graduation day. Despite being busy we were accommodated with an extra table outside. Service was attentive and friendly, and food was great. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Came here after attending an event at the Carlisle fairgrounds; with all of their horrendous “fair” food. What a delicious, refreshing delight in a sea of burgers and pizza.
I’ve had real Belgian frites in Belgium which were delicious and amazing, so I was excited to try their frites. These frites are whatever fries Sysco sells, fried in beef tallow that should have been changed weeks and weeks ago. Possibly the worst fries I’ve ever had; worse than even Hardee’s or gas station fries.
We stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner after seeing their weekend special on Facebook. The place is somewhat small and it was busy. We sat at the bar. There was one other couple sitting there. The bartender greeted us quickly and provided menus. We ordered drinks shortly after and then dinner. The beer is all Belgian and there is quite a bit to choose from. I had a saison and it was not what I am used to but it was good. We started with an order of mussels. They were very big compared to the mussels we have gotten at other places. There was not a lot of broth but they were good. We both had the crab special. That was good as well. Everybody talks about the frites here but we didn’t try them. The coleslaw that came with the dinner was good - I liked that it wasn’t drowning in milk or mayonnaise water. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pub-like. It was casual and easygoing. This was my first time here and I live in the area. I would go back again to try something else. If I was closer, I’d for sure try something for lunch.
Awesome moule frites, I had the bruges, mussels where so tasty and huge! The beet salad was very good too. Great find on our way from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Service was great.
We are regulars and I usually get the weekend special. I never complain and the manager wouldn’t listen when I tried to explain the crab cake special didn’t taste right and I didn’t want to eat it. They wouldn’t substitute or take off the meal just discount it. After paying for half of a meal I didn’t eat, I will never go back here again out of principle.
Good food, but it was difficult to choose a beer from their extensive collection. 😉
Great food, our server was pleasant. An enjoyable evening!
My girlfriend loved the eggplant and fries

The food was excellent. Didn't expect to find Jägerschnitzel on the menu, but it was tasty and done perfectly. Zora (if that's your name, dear!) was spot on: happy and attentive without hovering. So, go, Hercule insists!
This place is a treat. The beer menu has an extensive variety. The fries and homemade ketchup are a must try. The do a wonderful job with mussels as well. Best to try a few items and share so you can experience as much as possible.
Food is salty does not taste that great
10/10 must try!
