The restaurant was crowded when we arrived, and we waited about half an hour between ordering and receiving our food. Nevertheless, the quality was good. There is a nice selection of sweet and savory crepes including gluten-free buckwheat-based options for a small upcharge. Prices are reasonable. I ordered a gluten-free smoked salmon crepe. Another in my party ordered the same without the gluten-free option. The staff was careful to distinguish the two for us. A third guest ordered a sweet chocolate raspberry crepe, which she enjoyed. The serving was sufficient for a brunch/lunch meal. The taste was flavorful. The waitstaff was friendly. Overall a good eating experience, and I would recommend this restaurant.

Get there early! This place fills up! Our daughter attends Dickinson and every trip we visit, our last breakfast is at Helena’s! Nutella and strawberry crepe with decaf coffee is always a hit. We had the frittata/focaccia as well. Frittata was delicious but too salty for me. The staff is friendly and always smiling!

The Mocha is made with real melted chocolate!! The espresso is legit espresso!! The cheesecake is amazing, the sandwiches are incredible, the crepes are good sized portions. Ugh. So good.

Best espresso ive had in central pa. The mocha had real chocolate. Hummus was delicious (and homemade), pulled pork sandwich was delightful. Best cafe ive been to in the area.

I went here with my husband after a court hearing, it’s located conveniently in the heart of Carlisle. I got the chocolate and Nutella crepes, and it was fantastic. As well as the espresso macaron. It was the best macaron i’ve ever had, by far.

My husband got the cheese cake and powdered donuts. I was able to try both and I was a huge fan. The donuts were crispy and warm, and soft in the middle.

The man who took our order was as so friendly, and helpful. He was obviously extremely informed of the menu. He came by our table later to check on us, while making friendly conversation. I am extremely pleased with Helena’s!

Best crepes I've ever had. Maple, bacon, peanut butter and walnut. Heaven serves these, I'm sure of it.

We recently came across this quaint coffee shop in the heart of historic Carlisle. As we walked in, it was very open, clean, and inviting. We ordered at the counter, but our coffees were delivered tableside. The customer experience was very good. We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and a cappuccino with 2% milk. They used a dark roasted coffee, which was good. I wish they offered a medium roast, but they do offer a lot more! They had amazing looking desserts. Unfortunately, we did not try those. We stopped in right after having lunch, and we were full, but we will keep them in mind for when we have a sweet tooth in the future. Give this place a try, and you won't be disappointed!

The honey and butter crepe is silky and warm like a velvet pillow, with a simultaneously airy and refreshing mouthfeel. The locally harvested honey was balanced in perfect proportion with a ribbon of light butter whose flavors danced in your mouth with every bite. The Nutella crepe had a delicious amount of the spread and the orange slice garnish was refreshing. The young gentleman working last Friday was a very nice guy.
