“This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the area. The pork donburi was fantastic. My husband got the udon lomein noodles with chicken. They were perfectly tender without the squishing that happens when you overcook noodles. The green tea was delicious. I have also gotten their sushi before, which is fresh and fantastic. I'm so glad to have been here.“
“We met some friends and the four of us enjoyed habachi for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty quiet and we were a small party while the other habachi grill next to us had a larger party. Our chef did not seem to want to be there while the other table looked like their chef was having fun and giving the show you expect at habachi. Regardless, the food was good and service was efficient. The bathrooms are reasonably clean, the restaurant is a bit dated. We would return if we lived in the area as the lunch habachi prices are very reasonable and my friend liked her sushi.Parking: Strip mall“
“Issei is the most authentic Japanese food I've experienced in Central PA. The owner is from Osaka (the food Capitol of Japan) and it shows! The Shoyu Ramen and Karaage are a must order! I previously spent 4 months in Japan and the food couldn't be more authentic. I will be coming back to this restaurant as long as I am living in the area. Make a reservation and enjoy.
