“El Pollon in Carnegie is a tasteful choice for authentic Peruvian food. On a recent visit I tried the Tallarin Verde con Bistec, chicken burrito, onion and tomato salad, Peruvian fried rice, tres leches and flan. The food was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and kind. I will definitely return to try more of their menu. Definitely save room for dessert!!!

Parking: There is also a paid parking lot about two blocks down in the heart of Carnegie if street parking is full.”

“We had lunch at LeoGreta today and stopped at the bakery as we were leaving. We just tried the apple pie and it was delicious. Great crust and the filling wasn’t overly sweet, apples had a bite still and the spices were perfect! I had a good cappuccino as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!”

“We hired Noel at Mami’s Bakes to do cookies for our wedding rehearsal dinner and they were amazing! Everyone thought they were so delicious and had no idea they were vegan and gluten free. The red velvet cookie was totally amazing. We also ordered mini banana bread loaves for our wedding welcome bags and got so many compliments from guests! Noel was so nice to work with and took time for phone calls to make sure everything was perfect. We’ve also done orders just for fun or for holidays which have also all been delicious. Some of us in my family are vegan, some gluten free, and it’s so nice around the holidays to be able to pick up something delicious that everyone can eat. This year we ordered the coffee cake for Christmas morning and it was a huge hit, soo delicious! The cuban coffee cake is also insanely good!”

“We’ve been going to Elly’s since we moved here a few years back and it’s a true testament to we need more women owned businesses. The food is killer. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere has something for everyone. Their food is moderately priced for good portions, and they have amazing specials - $5 happy hour menu and $10 rotating entree special. They just added some new food to the menu with turkey handhelds, weekend breakfast, and Lenten specials on Fridays. I’m ready to come back and try it all. Support local - eat Elly’s.”

“A group of 8 went to celebrate Galentine's. The service was amazing. They checked on us frequently to make everything was good. They played birthday song for someone else and notice we sang and were wishing happy birthday to someone at our table. Boom they brought the hat, a dessert and played the music again for us. We had a memorable evening. Esther was our wait staff I believe. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for making our Valentine's fabulous!”

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....”

“This place is a very real world Indian dining experience. I have been here several times now and the service, food portions, taste and value have always been the best.”

“Perhaps what we ordered would have been better eating there rather than having it delivered. I will say, delivery was within the estimated time, the rest was a disappointment. Tonight, we ordered an XL pizza, wings, cheese curds, and curly fries with a side of cheese. For preference, we live at most 15 mins away. The pizza was an XL, but wasn't warm, the cheese was starting to harden, the normal pizza grease was already reabsorb as if it was precooked, sat out, toppings thrown on and reheated. the cheese curds were cold, cheese was hard. Wings were not warm. The fries were hard as a rock, cold, and reminded me of fries that are left out on a counter for hours... the side of cheese sauce wasn't warm and appeared to have been pulled from the fridge. we are saddened since we were hopeful that we found a local Pizza place to support, instead we wasted over $60 and after trying the food- my family didn't eat.”

“ive been going here for years, back when kasai wasnt apart of it, and still to this day theyre my favorite place to go to for chinese, and with kasai being apart of it now there’s so much more variety! i recommend this place to anyone and everyone (kasai is japanese food)”
