“My work honored me recently with a retirement party, along with our Pittsburgh staff, at the Altius restaurant. My family has enjoyed dinner there before, and as always, everyone was quite impressed with the atmosphere, attentive staff, and fantastic food. Altius is a top-tier restaurant in Pittsburgh, and you will not be disappointed.“
“Overall, we had a mixed experience at the restaurant. While the service was good, there were some issues with the food quality control during our visit. The burrata was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburgers. However, we were disappointed to find that the capers in the steak tartare had a moldy odor to them, and the Lobster Mac was overly salty, making it inedible. Despite these setbacks, Manager David promptly addressed the issues, which we appreciated.“
“Overall this restaurant gives you all the things you’re looking for when envisioning a date night or celebration. Hill entrance with valet. Greeted with coat check and brought to table with a great ambiance and candle lit table. The food could have been better, but wasn’t bad. Expensive, but worth the great service and mood. Didn’t get great pictures to give this restaurant justice.“
“First, this is a truly beautiful and relaxing place. All the staff seemed to appreciate us as patrons. However there is a downside right now. The menu is small and relatively unappetizing. Entrees are limited. This really wouldn't be all that bad but our food was way overdone, dry and very unappealing. One of the entrees was the Amish Chicken. It was very hard to eat and consisted of a small chicken leg that was burned and extremely dry. We as a rule never send anything back and it was Valentines Day as well. The cost is also fairly high with regard to what you get. I think the saving grace is that they are getting a new chef and new menu. Don't know if we would go back.“
“One of the best fine cuisine and service in Pittsburgh. I normally don’t like lamb meat, but this lace has the best lamb meat ever! It doesn’t have that strong lamb taste.Our server was very attentive, friendly and professional!!I wish I could know this place before!“
