If you're in Chadds Ford, PA and you want to dine with or without friends and you want to have some delicious food, great service, and a wonderful time, Antica is the place. We loved Antica so much that we went there twice during one visit. The staff are amazing, the food looks great and comes to your table hot and delicious, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. We will eat at Antica every time we're in the area.

We dined at Antica Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar on a Sunday around 6 p.m., following an event at the Chadds Ford Barn Shops. We arrived without a reservation, and the hostess greeted us warmly and graciously accommodated us with a table right away.
We were seated in a cozy front room with a pleasant view of the outdoors. The ambiance was intimate and inviting, with a refined yet comfortable fine-dining atmosphere. The table was thoughtfully set, and the hostess promptly and discreetly removed the extra place setting, a small detail that reflected the restaurant’s attentiveness from the outset.
Our server arrived promptly, was both professional and personable, and offered a thoughtful overview of the menu and evening specials. We ordered a glass of white wine along with a refreshing mocktail, both served promptly, followed by warm house bread with a well-prepared olive oil dipping plate.
For dinner, we selected the braised pork cheeks and the sweet pea ravioli. The pork cheeks were exceptionally tender and richly flavored, offering a slow-braised depth that was deeply comforting. In contrast, the sweet pea ravioli was delicate and fresh, with a beautifully balanced cream sauce that highlighted the sweetness of the peas without becoming heavy. Together, the dishes offered a pleasing contrast of rich, comforting flavors and lighter seasonal fare.
The dining room felt familiar and well-loved, with many guests appearing to be regular patrons who shared an easy rapport with the staff, contributing to a warm, community-like atmosphere. We were among the younger guests present, while the service team brought a consistent warmth and professionalism that balanced the room beautifully.
Both dishes were elegantly presented, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care and intention. The pacing of the meal was relaxed and well executed, allowing each course to be fully appreciated.
Service throughout the evening was attentive yet unobtrusive, striking an ideal balance that made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish.
Overall, the experience was exceptional—thoughtfully prepared cuisine, gracious hospitality, and a warm, refined atmosphere. We would gladly return.

Thank you to the amazing staff who made my birthday great!! The food was very good. I had the Basa Francese which is a perfect summer dish. My boyfriend had the Fettuccine Bolognese which was also delicious. Last, for dessert the chocolate mousse cake which is homemade on-site, it is soooooo good!! I highly recommend this restaurant. All of the staff is kind and extremely attentive to every guest.

Tyler is an incredible server.
The food was excellent, but the restaurant itself is SO LOUD, they are small rooms that have seating so it gets VERY noisy, but the tables are not on top of each other so that is a plus!
The white wine list is lacking, severely. A Sauv B from New Zealand would've been great. Unless you go to the bottle option, the wine by glass list for whites isnt great.
But again, Tyler, an incredible server.
5 stars despite some observations, no reason to not dine, the foods amazing.
If your looking for authentic Italian food, Antica Italian Restaurant is for you.

Really loved this place! Reasonably priced esp. for the area. Homemade pasta was tender and wonderful. Get the Crispy Polenta app (it was great!). Also recommend the Seafood Tagliatelle (note the sauce is more red than pink cream, but still very good) and Pork Cheeks & Tagliatelle. They even brought out complimentary shots of Limoncello at the end (not sure if they always do that). Highly recommend.

I’ve gone here several times now and every time I leave I can’t wait to go back. The food is absolutely incredible. Some of the best seafood pasta that I’ve ever had my wife and I love this for date night. It’s the only place my wife wants to go on her birthday. I recommend this place to everybody that wants a true authentic Italian dinner.

Foof was ok, for the most part, but they seemed to count the little bits of pear in the salad. Wait staff ranged from ignoring us to hovering wanting to take our plates away while we were still eating.
