Stopped in on a whim. We were antiquing nextdoor. My husband had arepas with pork. I had a passion something sandwich. Both were served with a delicious pasta salad. My husband said that he would eat this every day. Mine was so delicious also.

One of the best if not the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life. Croissants were flaky, crunchy and delicious. Very generous coffee drinks. My friend loved her Brie/turkey sandwich as well. Highly recommend. Close to Brandywine Museum.

Great spot for lunch after Longwood Gardens. It's a counter order place with not a ton of tables, so you may have to take out. The cuban sandwich is my favorite and the arepas are a must try too. Would love to come back again.

We stopped on our way to Philadelphia and the food was wonderful!!! Would recommend any of the sandwiches. Chicken Salad was the best. Hummus was so smooth and authentic.

After a visit to Longwood Gardens, three generations headed to Margie’s for a late lunch. We were thrilled with the food, selections, atmosphere, service, and getting to know Margie just a bit. The grands, five and three, enjoyed pesto chicken salad, I loved the Colombian inspired desgranado with salmon and my daughter had it with pork. Their coffees were delicious and the passion fruit iced tea was a treat. The pastelitos guava and cream cheese was worth saving room for! We loved it. The perfect ending to a really lovely family time. Thank you, Margie’s Cuisine.

Visiting Longwood Gardens and wanted to grab a bite before heading back to the office. The reviews for Margie's were excellent and well deserved! The restaurant is on the smaller side sitting next to a wellness store, Husk. There was plenty of parking in the lot. I walked in after 12:30 on a Tuesday and had no problem with being seated. There are only a handful of tables, maybe 10 or so. There was a very nice young man 12ish (I assume the Owner's son) who greeted me, seating is open. The menu is limited but the food is excellent. The Owner waited on me, she was very patient and explained the menu which is Columbian inspired. I had the chicken salad on a toasted croissant with a side of lettuce/chopped veggies. I also ordered the empanadas as an appetizer, also fabulous! Highly recommend eating here, the food was delicious, the service great and the prices very reasonable for the quality of food.

The place itself was almost like an art piece. Non-matching tables, hanging dry flowers, and a dried wasps nest.. it enhanced the experience. Food was great. I had the turkey with bree. Subtle calm flavors. My husband had the cuban which he said was fantastic. 100% want to return.
