Disappointed.. Yet again. We have tried the old hanks, the temporary KSQ location and then the newly rebuild Chadds Ford location today. All have been equally disappointing. Service was very slow, food was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. i cannot understand the hype or the number of positive reviews. Management needs to step up and make some changes. My husband ordered $10 French toast that looked like a meal my toddler could crush in 5 minutes flat. We left hungry and unfortunately wont be back.

The noise level is high making it difficult to hear and talk at your table

Our brunch here with family was fantastic!! Loved their Western omelette. They easily accommodated our group of 14.

This review is also for the newly rebuilt Hank's Place in Chadds Ford. Our friends who knew the old place recommended it and we came ready and willing to wait in line for the experience of eating brunch there. What we were not prepared for was the rudeness of the person running the line. He was bad tempered with everyone and acted as though talking to customers was beneath him. He was also in charge of refilling coffee once we were seated but he never came around.

Once seated we waited 30 minutes for a waiter, who also seemed irritated to be dealing with us. She was impatient with questions, took our order down incorrectly and brought the wrong food. The room was surprisingly loud and it was difficult for us to hear each other.

The food itself was mediocre. I had a Kennett Square Omelette, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. The toast was pretty good. The home fries were bland and dry. Overall, I'm confused about why this place is popular. My best guess is that they are riding on their previous reputation.

Great place, glad to see it reopened. I just wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu, like adding a vegan sausage or veggie bacon would be an easy add

Came here after it opened with my husband. The line to get in was long, but that was understandable, as it just reopened after being build for over a year and people wanted to try it. Kinda crazy how they put all this effort into a new building, but there isn't a host stand when you walk in so you're a little confused as to where to go. The food was... Not good. My husband got a burger and he generally has a strong stomach, but it made him feel unwell (he wasn't sure why, but said it was really greasy and nothing special). I had simple food, but had some dietary restrictions, which I let the waitress know (who was very understanding and super sweet). I saw how they cook the food on a large flattop grill and there were no designated spots for specific food, so if you have any dietary restrictions, this is not the place. Weird because they offered GF bread on their menu but nothing else? Why bother them, dietary restrictions aren't a fad :/ needless to say, I did not feel well afterwards either... Only saving grace of this place were the host and the server, which we're doing so much in such a busy place. I would recommend you save your money and go to another place. It's bad diner food with restaurant prices.

We really wanted to try this restaurant but their # was listed wrong on their website and we just kept reaching a local accounting firm instead. Hopefully they get this fixed.

While we miss Hank's in Kennett Square, we had to go check out the newly rebuilt one. It is so gorgeous inside! The food was great. I only gave it 4 stars because the hash browns weren't fully cooked, but it was very busy today so I get it. We will definitely be back!

I was looking forward to a good Saturday morning breakfast, but that was quickly ruined. After placing my order, no coffee refill, waiting 45 minutes for my food with no revisit from the waitress, while others around me had finished theirs and left, I left. Needless to say I will not be coming back. Very rarely do I leave negative reviews, but this feels warranted.

First time ever to Hanks. We ordered eggs over medium & they were runny inside. Yuck. Coffee was good. Service was excellent. Sausage was delicious. I won’t be going back. Too many other places that serve better prepared meals

The food was good, a little pricey but what isn't anymore? The service was a little slow but it wasn't horrible.

Nice place with very friendly staff. The service was fast and the food was delicious. You are right on the highway so if you eat on the deck it can be a little noisy but it wasn't too bad. My wife and I enjoyed it.
