It's worth the wait on the ramp. Temp location is very nice.

We had breakfast and it was great. The problem is the small place where all the staff was trying to do everything, and we kept getting forgotten because the one waitress wasn't keeping track of her table.

Fantastic. This is a temp location in Kennett Square (Oct) but they've done a fantastic job with the refreshed decor, and the service can't be beat. I think they stopped by to offer us coffee at least a dozen times :-). Lots of food and really nice options that are interesting takes on your typical breakfast fare. Would highly recommend.

It gets super busy on the weekends so I'd recommend getting in early or being ready to sit outside and chat for a little bit. From what I hear, the original location is under reconstruction and I don't know the reopening date. A second Hanks would not be a bad thing! ?

First time here the hostess was nice he said u can sit anywhere they don't have small booths so I sat in a big one meant for like 6 people the waitress came over ask me what I would like to drink told her she brought it back I told her what I wanted about ten minutes later another lady brought me my food not my waitress she came back about five minutes after I got my food to see how everything was I got two eggs over easy home fries and wheat toast the eggs were warm the home fries were over cooked on some parts and cooked right on the rest the toast was good but I don't like so much butter on my toast never saw the waitress after the first time when I got my food but for her to give me my check food was ok service wasn't good and they weren't even busy if you aren't a local then u get ignored but it is what it is

i ordered a tuna sandwich gluten free. I had ordered before and gotten two small sandwiches and was told it was because the bread was very small in comparison with the other bread that are not gluten free. When I went to pick up the sandwich the waitress interrogated it me: Who told you you get two sandwiches, you don´t the gluten bread is more expensive. Of course I don´t know who told me because I don´t know who answers the phone. She kept asking me : Who told you? As If I am some kind of idiot. She then charged me almost 15.00 dollars for the sandwich. If you need to change the price the nicest way to do so is to say this sandwich is more expensive because of the bread, however, you did not know therefore I will charge the price that is the menu, but next time the price will be 15.00 dollars. I won ´ t ever go back there or order anything. Good bye Hank´s. Maybe you can train your waitresses to be customer oriented.

I got the Breakfast Sub to go. $16.48 after tax & tip. Huge disappointment. It was small. When the container was put in the bag the one egg fell off the sandwich and all the cheese slid off the egg. The cheese was in a clump on the side of the container. $16.48, at least pretend you love me.

Hank's tasty Chipped Beef Eggs Benedict and home fries hit the spot for brunch. Excellent service and atmosphere. Restaurant looked newly renovated. Breakfast/lunch menu had multiple dishes I wanted to try.

I haven't been to Hank's place in over 30 years - in the old building off of Route 1. That building looked like it burned down! I miss the flower boxes! So I was surprised to see it in downtown Kennett when I was in the area with my wife and looking for a good place to eat for breakfast. The building we were in was very nice and the interior is tasteful decorative. It was busy, but we were seated promptly. The menu had upscale typical diner food with good extras and specials. I had a standard "Bullseye breakfast" with fresh toast and eggs. The food was great and promptly served. Restrooms were clean. And to my surprise, an illustration of how the building being rebuilt will look!My only complaint was the price, but I feel that is pretty much everywhere and don't blame the restaurant. Approximately 30 bucks plus tip for two breakfast dishes and coffee is a bit steep and definitely puts a damper on us eating out more. That being said, I'd still go back there if in the area.Give it a shot if you are in Kennett Square sometime!
