“What a gem! Found this wonderful place completely on the fly. We had booked a place to stay in Ohiopyle only to discover none of the food opens were open (off season). Went for a little drive and stopped here. The place is cute, clean and welcoming. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious.Back to add this: We got a bag of 4 pepperoni rolls to eat later. I give them 6 stars! Perfect amount of cheese (as in to to much), fantastic pepperoni, and the bread has just a hint of sweetness. Perfectly balanced flavor.“

“Everything about this place deserves a 5 star rating: the food is incredible, the service is friendly and personable, the atmosphere is lovely, the little cat that hangs around is even adorable. My partner and I were doing a weekend trip to hike and relax and this was the perfect spot to end on trip on a Sunday. It's not common to see London Fog Lattes on any menu, so I have to try one when I do, and this was one of the best I've ever had. If you're a tea lover, I highly suggest trying it. The Bird and the Angry Bird were both amazing, you can taste the quality in the food and the coleslaw is a must. I can't say enough about this place, everything they're about is positive. We were too full to try a smoothie, so we've decided that's just another reason to return soon.“

“I have always wanted to stop here on Route 40, on way from DC to Columbus, in the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Looked inviting and I thought they might have good pies and this was confirmed. They are made by their other family operation Ohiopyle Bakery. Unique interesting place with friendly service. She made a great recommendation: Caramel Apple pie. One of the best ever. All their pies are appealing with artistic crusts. My pie crust was perfect in texture and had wonderful flavor. Apples not overcooked, the right size slices, and caramel flavor great without being too sweet. Need to go back to DC soon so I can get another and also try their pizza pie. Fall foliage starting to look good in that area now.“

“We ordered a 75 th bday cake from giant eagle in Uniontown. The cake was decorated by Brittney and it was absolutely gorgeous not to mention delicious. Everyone wanted to know where we ordered the cake . I’m sure many of our family will be ordering cakes from giant eagle requesting Brittney .. Thank you for making our celebration so special“

“Such a cute little spot with FRESH food. We had the best homemade biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. We also ordered donuts to go, both of which tasted like the just came out of the oven. We had iced coffees and they were so good we ordered another one to go!“

“I started out as a customer of Emma’s Bake shoppe and I was looking for a part time job and applied. I have worked here for 16 months. The Owner (Jason), his brothers (The bakers) and Jason’s Fiancé (Ashley) are very hard working and kind hearted people. These bad reviews are upsetting because they are coming from an upset family member who has tried everything to ruin business for the Bakery. Please take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and know everything you read on the internet isn’t true! They have made me feel like family since day one. Ashley has really fixed up the Bakery and improved things since she has taken over. We appreciate every customer we get here at Emma’s!“
