This is a typical place to eat, upbeat environment, very loud so if that bothers you go elsewhere. The best part is the rolls and cinnamon honey butter. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great and others it’s too dry and overcooked. Service is the same as food. Peanuts are free on the table and they throw the peanuts on the floor. Kids love stomping on them to crunch! So that’s fun! The workers also do routine dances for certain songs which is fun!
We were staying at the Best Western in Chambersburg, PA and walked the .2 miles to the local Texas Roadhouse. We haven't been in one for a long time. This one was no different than any other in the chain. I had the smothered grilled chicken with a house salad and sweet potato as sides. The food was good. My husband had a strip steak with a house salad and sweet potato. His steak was ok. We are spoiled, eat top of the line all natural meats and chicken. Ok for a quick stop....
Short kid with black curly hair working Dec 22 at 8:50 PM must've been doped up or concussed. He laughed the entire time when he picked up the phone, and when I picked up my order, he told me to wait outside in the freezing cold and couldn't keep a coherent conversation. He had to get someone else because he was unable to formulate his own thoughts. Kid needs serious discipline. Food was fine though.
