I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. “The restaurant was empty, so myself and my partner were able to get good seating. The service was excellent and the portion sizes are huge. And all I had were 2 side orders! We did order an entrée, and the size of it was good too. 5/5 highly recommend!

“I dined in — everything was beautifully presented, really clean and professional. I had lamb shashlik and lyulya kebab — both were amazing: juicy, flavorful, and the portions were big. I finished the first one easily, but could barely get through the second — that’s how filling it was. The meat was tender, perfectly grilled, and not greasy. Great service and nice atmosphere. “Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.“

Our party included one vegan, one vegetarian and one mainly veg. Special mention to the pita, a cloud of wonderfulness, and the ginger juice, a spicy, sweet, delicious treat. We'll be back soon!“

“This might be the best date spot in the Philadelphia suburbs. The food is absolutely delicious … my wife and I feel like we are eating in the Mediterranean.

The menu is a little overwhelming but the arctic char, salmon, and branzino are absolutely incredible and the mezze appetizers are always so fresh and tasty.

Service could be a little faster, but hard to complain! Love this place!“
