Best Shop in the Delaware County! The Cheesesteaks and Hoagies are the best I’ve tasted great staff!

I'm so glad I recently had the chance to try a cheesesteak at this place; it was amazing! If you prefer a finely chopped cut, with the perfect blend of cheese and fried onions throughout, and on a beautiful, seeded roll, then try Phil & Jim's. At many places, it's difficult to know you actually ordered cheese on your cheesesteak, but this baby had perfect cheese flavor in every bite. Their CS now ranks in my top ones in the area, and I very much look forward to going back! The employees were extremely friendly as well.

We heard great things about this steak shop, on the way home from my husband's work, so he stopped in for a good cheesesteak. And as a South Philly native, I know great cheesesteaks. We opened the wrapper and little tiny teeny weenie pieces of totally minced up steak, the size of ants, oozed out. A lot of it, but so finely shredded and chopped, it constantly fell out of the sandwich with every bite. It was a mess! Why do you do that? Seems more work than needed... unless the cook was getting out his/her aggressions on the meat. NOT NECESSARY! I also ordered sausage and peppers. The sausage was sliced thin, too, instead of whole or chunks. Chopping issues? Onion rings were delicious!

Great place if you are hungry for a very filling cheesesteak, and the price won't give you a headache

53 I have been going to this sandwich shop. Cheesesteaks, hoagies and burgers is what they do. New owner in the last couple of years and the place has taken a nose dive. Constant mistakes on orders, forgetting to put items in the bag and just not caring. Tonight I went in and the burger was wrong and whoever took the order never put fries on the ticket. When I complained the owner gave me a hard time. He told me I don't have to come back if I can't accept that mistakes are made. The team is only as good as the owner so after 56 years I won't be back. The owner and I went to the same high school and I will no longer support this arrogant person. Your team makes the same mistakes and you are ok with that. You must have more business than you need if you're driving customers away

Authenticity is bleeding out of this place. Amazing steaks! Only a 15 min drive from the airport. They have a back dinning room with philly sports memorabilia on the walls. The lady at the register was sweet, welcoming, and full of pride. Honest prices. Skip the big name joints and go here. Can’t wait to go again.
