“We were at the Dickson City location. Ordered the hot honeybee. We added sausage and cherry peppers. It was fantastic. Exactly what we were hoping for. The girl at the front was very sweet. She was taking orders and helping with preparing. We spoke to John for a bit and talked pizza. Excellent people. Excellent food. LOVED the crust and sauce. You can taste the quality and you can tell they know what they are doing. Not your normal run of the mill pizza place. We found our go to spot when we’re in the area! Also loved seeing pastina on the menu!“

“Stayed an extra day here in PA due to the mini snow storm so we ordered pizza to be delivered to our hotel. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and parmesan bread sticks. Pizzas were really good! Bread sticks didn't have a lot of flavor though. Service was great and speedy!“

“Stopped in a few days ago and thought I would try it. I am from Boston MA were there is great pizza and the Italian North end has some of the greatest food. I ordered cheese pizza and a few slices of the chicken pizza. The pizza and crust were amazing. There was a great crisp crunch and the sauce was superb. “What is the difference between tavern and bar? They both serve alcohol, but a tavern is more sophisticated with an “emphasis on the food.”
Town Tavern is a simple by nature, with a long bar and a rear seating area with tables and hi-tops. They keep the menu fairly simple by pub grub standards, with pizza, sandwiches and their next-level wings. As the definition says, an emphasis on food, in this case “the wings.”
Life is short. Tomorrow is never promised, so Eat the Wings! Enjoy yourself. If you consider them a guilty pleasure, you don’t deserve them. I would say “live deliberately” and try the Cajun or Sweet Thai Chili - my favorite two sauces. The wings come in orders of 10, but based on the size and quality of the wing, 10 is plenty. Would love to see a “fleet” of wings similar to beer tasting. Hard to choose from the 34 sauce flavors and six dry rubs.
The cost of the wings are listed on the menu as “market price.” Just like eating a lobster! Regardless of the current price, they are worth every penny.
I have seen a few reviews saying it takes too long. Please, if you want fast food, go to a place that serves it. If you want high quality - crispy wing on the outside and juicy on the inside, tossed in one of their beautiful signature sauces, wait for that level of preparation. Highly recommend a visit to the Town Tavern. An order of ten of their wings and a cold on-tap beer is truly one of life’s simple pleasure. Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think.“

“Great place. Very quick service, good quality beef patties and chicken. Their prices are great as well. I ate there for an hour and the atmosphere was great! Friendly people, quiet and staff is always prompt and polite. I highly recommend if you’re a fan of fried food and quick service.“

“We came here for the deep fried gizzards. Not the healthiest but tasty. This is more like a twice a year event. They also have deep fried liver but the gizzards are way better. The portions are generous. Even the small portion can fill you up. The fried chicken is a bit tasteless. The deep fried pies are really good.“

Ordered direct through the BWW app, pickup window 8:25pm:8:40pm, finally got my food at about 9:10pm. Food was super fresh and tasted as good as eating in the restaurant, hence the 4 star review, just know they don’t prioritise orders through the corporate app. I saw a ton of third party delivery drivers waiting (no disrespect, you folks are great), so if your third party order was delayed it’s probably legit.

In-house service was pretty bad. Would order again but add 15 minutes to pickup window provided by BWW in the app.“
