“First time here. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, very laid back. Great music on the jukebox. We had a table of 10 and there was only 1 cook and 1 bartender/waitress, and they did a phenomenal job. The food came out quickly, I wait a lot longer at most other restaurants with a large staff. Wings are amazing. They have whole wings!! The jimmy fries are delicious. Drink prices are great. Nice drink specials, too. If you're looking for a nice clean bar, good food this is your place. Kudos to this amazing duo. ??

“What’s happening here? How can a little shop like this in California, PA have some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted? And the rice bowls AND wings!? Not to mention the delicious ice cream and the waffle sandwiches? That’s all we’ve tried so far but my husband and I are both eager to try more menu items. I can see this place being dangerous on the wallet. I highly recommend the Super Alaska and Yellow Tail rolls. Also, the Yum Yum sauce is to die for. I could drink it by the gallon. “We frequent here and have never been disappointed. We’ve had just my wife and I, or groups of up to 20, and the service, food, and staff are fantastic. Even when we didn’t have reservations for a large group they’ve always accommodated us. We just cannot say enough about how wonderful the experiences have been. A menu diverse enough for every taste. Cocktails are among the best you can get when dining out. We will definitely continue to visit here. Thanks for the great experiences!”

“Stopped here on our way through Monongehela. My husband had the cheese burger and d fries and really enjoyed it. I cannot eat gluten and very rarely find a place that can accommodate me. I had kolbassi with no bun, coleslaw, and they cooked my fries in a separate fryer. Everything was very good!”

“We had one of the best meals of our lives last night at Vesta 88 while celebrating our son's 27th birthday! Ron and I had the special (grouper topped with crab-stuffed shrimp, tomato basil risotto and asparagus)--and Noah had the poutine and meatball trio. SO delicious! The servers are so friendly and attentive, and the coal-mining themed atmosphere and memorabilia make for a unique dining experience. Our new fave local restaurant!”

“Truly can’t recommend this place enough! Any time we have family or friends from out of town we try and eat here. While we mainly frequent the diner for breakfast on the weekends, we occasionally enjoy their delicious food other times as well. I have a service dog and they are always welcoming to her and respectful as well which is rare to find in small towns! Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing place.”

“We visited Rizzle’s Roadhouse for the first time today! It is half bar and half restaurant so we expected the typical bar food. WHAT A SURPRISE! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! There were four of us and we all agree and will go back even though we live an hour away. We had grilled chicken mahi-mahi, ribs and steak - all excellent! You won’t be disappointed!”

“What a great gem! Went here for a wedding reception. Appetizers were Brussel sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes and pretzel with cheese. Top tier!!! Dinner I had the ribeye. Came with baby potatoes and carrots. Absolutely delicious. Cooked to absolute perfection. The steak melted like butter. The atmosphere and presentation is very elegant and great for date night.”
