“Met a group of friends here, and all raved about how good the food was! Coffee was also excellent and the barista tweaked it just to my liking.My only complaint—the digital menu’s font is tiny! Better to read the menu online on your phone.Parking: I always park at the Kennett square garage. Easy to access downtown, clean, and safe.“

“I received a pound cake, carrot cake muffin and chocolate chip cookie for a birthday gift. The box arrived wrapped quite well a day filled with inspirational quotes and some candies as well. The added treats were an unexpected and welcome surprise. While I didn't enjoy the cookie or the muffin, the pound cake was so fantastic that I ate almost half of it in one sitting!!! Light, airy, succulent morsels made a rainy day feel like a sun drenched oasis. Just the right amount of sugar and butter, didn't need the powdered sugar it came it. Ate some at room temp and some warmed, it is the perfect accompaniment for your favorite coffee or tea. You definitely want this pound cake at least once in life.“

“The best pastries I've had since I lived in France. Seriously, don't hesitate, go and enjoy these amazingly flaky and authentic delights! The Canelé was a culinary surprise to me, so yummy and eggy inside a perfectly crisp shell. The croissants were crunchy and flaky and so on point. I'm counting on Lola's for all my celebratory days to come.“

“I finally made it in before they were closed or sold out. So glad I did. I'll make a point of getting there, hopefully weekly. I purchased the seeded ancient grains bread. It is the best bread I've ever eaten. Their bread is life!! Worth every penny. Very friendly staff. I wish you could give more stars!!!! So good! Don't be fooled by the shopping center sign that reads "bagels". It should read, "best bread on the planet."Parking: Tons of parking in this shopping center.“

“Stunned by this place! Local fresh products at good prices- I wanted to buy everything in the store. Yes, some stuff is quite expensive, as is the nature of maintaining an inventory of truly authentic food, but there are also items priced almost the same as you would find them anywhere else. This in and of itself is impressive, and the selection is excellent.There is raw milk available and when you grab honey from the shelf, the live hive is on display right next to the assortment of raw honeys!“

“I picked up a 5-inch chicken pot pie for dinner and a salted maple custard pie for dessert. Holy cow, they were so good! Hands down, the best chicken pot pie I've ever had! The 5-inch size was big enough to share with my daughter. The salted maple custard pie was unique and delicious. I usually prefer fruit pies but am glad I tried this. I can't wait to try more of their pies!“

“I came across Panadería Azteca as I was leaving downtown Kennett Square. I swore I would stop by the next time I was in the area, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman working behind the counter was welcoming and answered my many questions. He made excellent suggestions for lunch and baked goods. My lunch was flavorful and they were great about my requests. The baked goods were delicious with just the right balance of sweetness. I can't wait to go back and try something else.“

“FIVE STARS: Great service and multitude of product/ flavor/size choices!!! If you have a dairy or gluten allergy issue the Bakers of Buffington are your best choice by far. I spoke with Angela and ordered a 9" yellow birthday cake with chocolate icing for my wife's birthday and family on Thursday February 3rd late afternoon and picked it up just after 1pm Friday. My daughter has a gluten and dairy intolerance and they were truly the only bakery in the entire region that could accommodate both allergies. This was a beautiful 3 layer cake that tasted incredible! We celebrated my wife's birthday Saturday and just finished it tonight Tuesday February 8th so it lasted several days across my wife, I and three kids. Wonderful!!!! Joe (Kimberton, Pa)“

“We stopped here a while hiking in the area. The owner was there and she could not have been more friendly. We tried some whoopie pies, and fried pies... Delicious. They also had a selection of gourmet craft soda. I'm not sure if it's a regular thing, but they also had a barbecue food truck that was very good“

“Love this place. Apart from great coffee and pastries, they even have a GIANT mug with samples of pain relievers (see picture). Asked the lady serving us why they have them on offer and she said “they go well with caffeine”. Note: it was shortly after NYE. I simply thought it was extremely thoughtful.“
