“Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.“

“There's always a different bartender and it seems the more makeup they are wearing the more likely they are to get your order wrong. I ordered a double shot of Jack and a pint of coke and I got a double shot glass with ice and not even filled to the top and my soda had NO ice and it was half the size of a pint. That was a week ago. Two days ago, our food order got stupid screwed up! ...but as long as the bartenders look good, right? Shut up!“

“We came here for dinner on a somewhat quiet Saturday evening. Luck was on our side as they had no problem getting us a table for four and we were sat quickly. Service was friendly and the menu was surprisingly deep. Overall, the food did not disappoint.We started with the French Onion soup - it is on point and if you like French Onion, I recommend it. I went with the meatloaf sandwich. It was good, but the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Still a creative and enjoyable sandwich. We also got a poke bowl, which was very fresh. I'd recommend getting the dressing on the side as that could overpower some of the aspects of the bowl, but no other modifications needed.I've heard this place can get busy and is a bit of a dive bar. Given its location, I am sure it can get busy so I would plan ahead if you want to eat. As for dive bar, not sure I'd call it that but if I did it would more bit a complement. I say give Berwyn Tavern a go if you are in the area.“

(I parked for the night & did not drive!)The bartender Katie is a doll, she's on top of everything & makes a mean drink. “Cory, Grant, and Autumn are AMAZING! I wish I could type all three of these as one, because as a whole they are amazing. I go to brunch every Sunday. I used to rotate around, but now it's only here because of these three. They make me feel at home. Oh, the food & drinks are AMAZING as well. But, the service from these rockstars keep me coming back. My weekly bartenders are now friends, and I look forward to my brunch every week. “In Philadelphia for a 2 day conference. Stayed at a Marriott with no place to eat or relax. Found this place right across the street. Great wait staff that were really friendly. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries....just plain awesome. Paired that with the Alaghash white beer, very very good. Would come back again for sure.“

“This was our first time here. We had a great experience. Wait staff was friendly and appropriately attentive. Great selection of beers. Happy hour, so 1/2 priced beers, and $5 off of wine, and reduced price cocktails. The 23 burger was huge, and cooked perfectly. My wife had the chicken cheese steak which she said was awesome! For being in Bridgeport, it was nice that they have their own dedicated parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return....“
