“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Yough River Brewing Company on Thursday, October 16th, while traveling from Cincinnati to Gettysburg, PA. We picked this place because it was nearly halfway along our route — and we couldn’t have chosen a better stop! 🍻 Going into “enemy territory,” one never knows how the locals will react to you cheering for the visiting team — especially when Pittsburgh was playing Cincinnati that night. 😅 But we couldn’t have been more surprised! They welcomed us with open arms, and everyone was extremely friendly and laid back. Their selection of craft beers was amazing, and we ordered multiple flights to sample as many as we could. 🍺🐾 Even better, they’re pet-friendly, and our pup Gracie was free to wander around and soak up the attention from fellow patrons who stopped to play with her and talk football with our crew. They also have an amazing outdoor seating area with fire pits and multiple TVs, perfect for relaxing and catching a game. The indoor bar area was just as great — cozy, inviting, and decorated for Halloween in a fun and festive spirit. 🎃👻 If you’re ever passing through the area, make sure to stop in — great beer, great people, and great vibes all around! #YoughRiverBrewing #CraftBeer #RoadTripStop #DogFriendly #CincyToGettysburg #MakingMemories #CheersToThat“

“I went after the Tube Da Ville Guiness World Record Attempt for The Longest Line Of Swim Tubes. The prices were good and the food was good. The place was packed this night and the kitchen and servers were doing their best to keep up. I guess one of 2 things was happened or both. Either multiple staff called off or the influx of out-of-towners was overwhelming the establishment this night. I witnessed multiple rude patrons (my observation - many older & many with small kids) who were taking their frustrations, about the 1 hour kitchen delay, out on the servers. The servers were upfront with us that the kitchen was behind due and was doing their best. We chose to wait. Service was faster than we thought. The wings and zucchini planks were very good. The pizzas were missing pizza sauce, so I can't give an accurate review on it. The crust was good, so I can only guess the sauce would make it better. Aside from the sauce issue, my experience was good and I would come here again to try the pizza, which I plan on doing very soon.“
“Tucked away little crafter with a tasty, light hazy that packs a punch. Lots of the beers have a fruit infusion, not a personal preference. Laid-back vibe frequented by locals. Tons of open-air indoor space and vast outdoor seating. Restrooms are portables if that matters to your crowd.“

“Stopped by for a weekday lunch after visiting Fallingwater and ordered the Tavern special burger and fries (normally $15.95, for $12.50). The service was great and our waitress was very nice. The burger was a large patty and was better flavored than my normal Whole Food Neiman ranch patties. It came with lots of nicely prepared fries all the fix-ens. Nice atmosphere.“

“The most fantastic lunch stop in Connellsville while biking the GAP! My roast beef on pretzel bun and my partner’s Reuben had very generous amount of protein which was perfect since we were biking another 3 hours to our next stop. The roast beef sandwich had perfect amount of horseradish flavor and the corned beef of the Reuben was perfect, not too salty as many are. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were crisp without the heavy oil sensation or “after taste” as with other restaurants. I was still thinking of my sandwich 3 hours later as I landed in Confluence. An extra plus: I needed a place to charge up my Ebike, they have outlets in the outside patio. Very biker friendly.“
