He was efficient, kind, and organized. From the drinks served before, to the food, then the cake,and packing us up to go, he did it all with a little help by Samantha. “I suppose this place needs another 5 star rating...either way they deserve it. Come early in the day (say 3-430) to beat evening rush. A history of the place is on the back wall as you wait or after you get your ice cream. Parking is available. They serve arctic swirls which are amazing (think a Blizzard but better). Pages is another classic must when you visit Pittsburgh.“

“If you are tired of the large coffee locations making drinks not worth the money then you want to go to Pour Johnny's. I was looking for a locally owned coffee shop to fill my need and they did not disappoint. The owners are always there and my drink was amazing. This was my first time there but definitely will not be my last. If your looking for a new coffee shop please give them a try. I am so glad I did and love supporting a locally owned business.“

“Nothing I enjoy better than a cold beer after cranking out some miles along the GAP trail. The Draft wagon from Bloom Brew which is the local craft brewery in West Newton, has four selections to choose from at this location with one choice being a cider. The convenience of this draft wagon along with the Outpost burger place next door is great. No waiting to be seated or a person to serve you. Order at the window and your all set! Opened in 2021, it is becoming a great place to enjoy a beer and chat up with other cyclists and the locals that stop by. All outdoor setting with plenty of shade to enjoy the day and your beverage of choice. The beer tenders are friendly and helpful.“

“I LOVE this place SO much! You get a ton of food! You can't beat their sushi and lunch combo specials! Every one there is SUPER nice! Their egg drop soup is the best I've ever tasted and you can order it with no starch and add extra egg! I get it by the quart. I did get a tiny shell in mine today, but that's no issue, and it is easy to spit into a napkin, and it has only happened once before.(I get it a lot) The string beans & chicken is glorious! The eggrolls are crispy, filled and not dried out! Basically everything tastes like it did pre-2020. It is totally worth it! The only thing I've ever had here that I wasn't a fan of was the Pad Thai, but I think that's because I was used to it from elsewhere, so it was just different to me...I still ate it tho! Stop by and try a lunch special! I also love that they use natural ginger with their sushi and not that weird pink stuff! lol! I only wish I didn't live 30 minutes away. You can tell they care!“

“I always get takeout but the dine in area is a clean simple pizza shop vibe.
The counter service is so busy and still organized and friendly. The pizza is very different than what you may be use to. Cheese and toppings are piled on cold after the crust and sauce are cooked to a crispy tasty perfection. I like to take a few bites as served and then bake or broil the rest. You gotta love cheese like I do to love this pizza. I personally love the sauce because it's not sweet nor bitter, very flavorful and clearly fresh made. If you think you can eat 4 square pieces, you may want to order 3 or save some for leftovers. If you're still reading, parking is tight but spots open fairly quickly. Just be a bit patient.“

However the meatball pho, the meatballs were a little dense and the broth didn't have that depth of flavor, it was missing roasted ginger, onion and star anise and a few dashes of fish sauce. But it was a good size bowl of noodles. I will most definitely go back to order the papaya salad and try their Tom yum soup or fried rices. The owner seemed very nice.“

They have come along way since being next to a laundry-mat, but the food is exactly how I remember it. Special recommendation for the chicken parm... this restaurant is the standard that I go by. They also sell their sauce at Giant Eagle where I live now, and it tastes just like the sauce from the store (with a little extra fresh parsley, that is).“
